REVIEW:
Well...I really don't know what to say, other than the "report" I got was the biggest cluster fuck of a report Ive ever seen. From the 30+ text files he sent in a zip file, its hard to make out what is what, and this service was advertised as FORUM POSTS...but every link I check (when I can find them in the maze of text files that hardly make any sense) is a link to a BLOG.
Oh, wait I found one blog post where my link was on a BLOG.
I'm not going to check 200k of the URLs, but a scan of several hundred reveal these are blog posts...not forum posts....unless I am completely missing the boat (which I have done before...;-)
I suggest the OP work on his reports....sloppy IMO. Just my opinion tho.
Rating: eh...
I'll take your advice and look it over more when I have time. The report just caught me off guard - because the service was advertised as FORUM posts. No big deal.
No problem Roger - iTrader left.
NO need for the 5000 posts...lets let the ones I have now settle.
I still didn`t get my report and no answer from you for more then 5 days already.
When can i expect it ?
No report for me either, though on the 26th he claimed a 48 to 72 hour turnaround. He has claimed that he sent me the report - but he hasn't. I'm still optimistic, and will provide review when report is produced.
Update: Sorry, email got swept into spam and I didn't even think to check it. Let me go over things, and I'll get back with comments about the service.
Ok so I got my report. I needed to give me email so I would have gotten it earlier. I personally didn't like how the reports were set up but that is probably just because this is my first time using xrumer, so I can understand that. The reports are what he says they are, though. Doing a google search I can see pages come up so I can verifyt that I am getting submissions.
So good stuff.
The report format:
Success: Verified Submission
Half Success: Verified submissions and other submissions that must undergo moderation as well as some that are not forums.
Profiles: verified profiles
Activation: profiles that required activation
etc etc
REVIEW:
I couldn't help but laugh when I got my report, since a previous reviewer made clear what to expect - his exact language was 'cluster fuck.' I paid half price for the 200K Forum Post Blast.
Communication was spotty, but not bad by any means. I got a little frustrated at the end of the process, but it turned out to be my fault. He claimed to have sent me the report and did, but I didn't check in the spam folder. He also claimed that the report would be ready 48 to 72 hours, and I received mine about 96 hours later. Not really bad, but he did advertise a faster turn around.
The report itself is something to see. One of the seven files is titled 'Others,' and is by far the largest at about 32mb unrared. It contains 203,423 links, along with status reports that I assume xrumer threw up as it worked through the database. 'Success' file had 1589 urls, 'Halfsuccess' had 57,607 urls, 'Profiles' had 63 urls, 'Activation' and 'Registered Accounts' both had 494 urls. One last file had what appeared to be 7 random digits. No idea what that is for.
Given what the original poster has claimed, i.e.:
I think I am to believe I got something that approaches a 30% success rate for the 200k blast at around 60,000 links (though some will get tagged via moderation).
I hand checked a few of the links. Some were there - some, not so much. It would be interesting to send this all through something that could check. I know I've got some links coming in.
I don't really know what to make of this service, and I'm not totally new to xrumer type stuff (I've had a couple of small things done thus far). I would suggest that you get a good idea of exactly what is being promised - forum posts, profiles, blog comments, whatever.
