Wow - None of you are talking about the Google Update today

Has anyone noticed som patterns? I suppose SerpWOO got some study going, heh?

We're grinding through a ton of data, but still have to wait till things settle down to really showcase the winners and losers. If we find something significant we'll create a blogpost about it.

What's really exciting, stroking myself of course, is according to the twitter-verse, MozCast, Algoroo, and AuthorityLabs all were not able to detect this update - but SERPWoo was.

So I guess there is a new king:

I had a good site loose a few positions, but not nuked off the planet. Still on page 1 & 2, so who knows. However I'm seeing some really good results from parasites I've been building in the past few weeks. I'm going to have a dozen of these things owning the first page within a month.

Had a legit site (legit brick and mortar technology business) drop from page 1 to page 6 on the day of the update and then bounce back to page 1 for most of the terms today.

ie to soon to tell major changes but its obviously there

traffic leaks bros srs

This update killed me. One of my top websites was knocked from page 1 to page 6 and I can't figure out why... just keep checking over and over again to see if I have bounced back :S

Google is tracking your refreshes. Stop refreshing, pretend like you don't care, and your rankings will soon increase.

Or to put it in perspective. .. Dzanis Jared and Ross THAT site. You know the one I'm talking about is rising like a god damn rocket. We made it bros.

Noticed some changes in the competitive UK serps today.

Fucking loving some of the increases.

If Google's really trying to enhance user experience, the first thing they should do is stop giving so much weight to domain authority.

I was searching for a specific answer to a specific business related qiestion, and the top 5-7 SERP positions were dominated soley by entrepreneur.com.

I had to dig into the 3rd page to find my answer from a far more obscure (but useful) site.

Why?

Because Entrepreneur.com provides vague, watered down info half the time. But because they're an "authority," they get the privilege of cluttering the SERPS with fucking garbage. Fuck daught nugguuuuh.

We need more diversity in the SERPS, gotdammit.
