Wickedfire Member Sells Startup For $120MM

Mailing and I are going to start a JV

We are going to parse jobs from tons of companies and link to them, and then put some sponsored links on top of that, and then sell it to LinkedIn

I bet LinkedIn will be amazed with this technology and cave into our $100 million dollar demands ...

It looks like you are successful in the job niche already, the yellow font must have given you a competitive edge. I will PM you to talk a little more about it.

It was the bold font that gave him the competitive edge. Not the fucking yellow font.

Again, being naive.

@Eduardo, I believe a post in the Enlightened Members forum is in order since this thread with great potential has been ruined.

I mean I'm just going off common sense here, but I don't think hiring qualified individuals such as those listed above would be rather cheap. I wonder why it took and incredibly educated team to build a simple job search?

You know what, maybe they all just donated their time?

You have the standard sheepish loser mentality (otherwise known as "common sense"). And you are a huge douche-bag.

Now go find a 5-time Jeopordy winner and build something incredibly complex.

^^Wouldn't have a problem if he didn't lose his competitive edge by offering unreliable support for the dedicated private proxies he's been selling.

To get back on topic, are there any other wickedfire members who have reached a similar level of success? I know some network owners have done well. Anyone else?

I just sent Eduardo a message on Facebook about this thread. Maybe he'll drop by and shoot some of his knowledge all over our faces.

Let's do a google hangouts next week --- I learned a lot along this process about how to use what you learn in performance marketing (how to buy traffic very intelligently, be hyper analytical about ltv, etc) and how to apply it in the enterprise world where you can create much more value.

Appreciate the kind words and invite anyone (including mailing) to come join the conversation. I've learned a lot from you boys here and would be more than happy to share a few of the key things i've learned.

I have a serious question (intead of bickering). I would like to know what set Bright apart from say, Simply Hired, which Linkedin already pulls from when no job searches match a Linkedin job posting.

That would be awesome, make sure to make a thread so people don't miss it!
