Wickedfire Member Sells Startup For $120MM

Luckily for Eduardo buyer did not check his WF likes status. Surely they will never pay full price to someone not active in Shooting The Shit.

In all seriousness - RESPECT to him.

Seriously, I would appreciate it if you could enlighten me. I really don't know much about this business model.

You were actually on point, I was just fuckin' with ya.

After you tackle that little task, next you can make your own search engine that competes with big G. You just need a simple script that scrapes all the sites on the internet and that organizes them in a nice list when the search terms match the meta tag keywords on the websites. I would think ordering them by relevance may help? Maybe date, size, history, backlinks, age, and content are a few things to take into consideration as well when deciding which site should rank higher than another.. Shouldn't be too hard..

Good luck,

Go get rich now.

Pretty sure Jon gets 10% of all our lifetime earnings.

Shoulda read the TOS.

Went to check out his posts to soak up some knowledge. . .

Eagle and Harrison run a solid business. Anyone who disagrees is just a hater.

saw that. my only impression was that he was apparently right about the right things. repeatedly.

please god let me be more wrong in your book. repeatedly.

You should probably just stick to selling dedicated private proxies. Try offering reliable support for a competitive edge.

Because seriously, you do not know what the fuck you are talking about.

Often hear this or variations of it.

"I could build that for $500"

"Its just a basic site I could make that in PHP"

blabla

Funnily enough these people don't tend to have $100 million dollar exits on their resume.

Lol, something tells me you both fags wouldn't be much smarter than I am when it comes to building a bright.com :)
Or how many do you already have in your portfolio, to follow your argumentation?

You're both taking the easiest position there is on this one.

I think its pretty obvious they'd both be smarter than you at building another Bright.com, because they aren't stupid enough to think they just need to "build a job site that parses jobs from tons of companies and links to them, then puts sponsored links on top".

My first post sounded stupid, I got it.
I appreciate your input. Look, I saw one thing on the internet:
There can be a thin line between a $500 PHP page and a million dollar business. In general, I like to keep things simple and see things simple.

Other than that, it seems like juicebox is busy saving $30 for a VPS and isn't sure how to set up his DNS records, so I think I might be a step ahead of him.

You're not.

I'm actually saving 35% on a $100 setup so it's closer to $35 in savings, a month. I've also always had cPanel for the other shit, first time on umanaged. You wouldn't be a little bit a head of me if I gave up and took all my sites offline.

But like I said before, try selling dedicated private proxies offering reliable support for a competitive edge. Because if you really thought something like Bright.com was that simple to build then you have no business anywhere else on the internet.

I think it's obvious we both know at least enough to know that it's just stupid to think that one could even think they know how to build something as complex as a unique search engine.

Please ban yourself from the internet.

So you just admitted that you, as well, "do not know what the fuck you are talking about.".
"Eduard" is no wizard and maybe not even smarter than you.
So what stops you from learning? Aren't you curious to find out how Bright works? If yes, then why are you fucking around instead of doing so? Actually, I just wanted to start a discussion about this.

You should not have been so naive. I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to building that site, but when it comes to understanding how complex a site like that can actually become, that I motherfucking understand.. at least I think..

None of us stated that we know how to build a site similar to that, but we both can apparently read.

We assembled an incredible team. In their previous lives, they had been nuclear physicists, astrophysicists, geophysicists, neuroscientists, organizational psychologists, teachers (for America), and even a five-time Jeopardy champion. They were brought together by a belief that finding a job should be easier than splitting an atom.

I mean I'm just going off common sense here, but I don't think hiring qualified individuals such as those listed above would be rather cheap. I wonder why it took and incredibly educated team to build a simple job search?

You know what, maybe they all just donated their time?

To answer your other question:

No, I'm not interested in learning how that site functions, not in the least bit.

I'm busy learning other shit, atm. Unfortunately, I don't think I would ever be interested in learning how to build that.

You fuckers are ruining what could have been a decent conversation. Just send eachother pics of your cocks already and stop the faggotry for the rest of us.

Thanks for adding something useful, wasting space, and contributing to what could have been a decent discussion. Much value.

Mailing and I are going to start a JV

We are going to parse jobs from tons of companies and link to them, and then put some sponsored links on top of that, and then sell it to LinkedIn

I bet LinkedIn will be amazed with this technology and cave into our $100 million dollar demands ...
