Wearing high-end brand clothing?

For basics I like Uniqlo.

Jeans I'm getting into raw denim

Dress shirts and jackets I get custom made in Asia

Looking good is about having a nice body, taking care of yourself, having clothes that fits, and knowing how to dress yourself.

Lol @ the OP trying to "buy" swag. Definitely trying to make up for his insecurities with money.

yea uniqlo if you're built like a 8 year old American boy or 26 year old asian guy, is a good place to shop.

I bought 3 pairs of fred perry shoes for $130/ea last month. I think those would be the most expensive shoes i bought, lol. other than that, i guess i probably spend more than i should on clothes. As for cars; i gotta f-350, jaguar, etc. I gotta stop doing this shit, I agree that it is blowing money.. I should just shop @ walmart and drive a ford focus :-/

If you think brands = quality stuff, you're a gullible idiot.

Most "brands" are made in the same factories, with the same material in Bangladesh & China as the non-brand stuff. The only difference is the "brands" get the latest "look" (if you're a fashion fag) earlier, before the shops copy them. Oh, and they advertise more.

99% of clothing is disposable bullshit now, it doesn't matter where you get it from.

If you want really good quality, you need a tailor.

A good tailor will make you look awesome no matter what your body shape is (well, maybe not if you're a whale).

I buy all my casual clothes from wherever, and get my smart stuff (which I don't buy that often) made to order.

I gotta say, I love all those brands. Not so much Burberry fan, but LV and Gucci for the win. Got an LV laptop bag for my Macbook Air, it's the shit. The quality is unmatched.

Most of the time it's about the way your clothes fit and not the clothes themselves, but still nobody should be buying their clothes from wal-mart...

Plain black / white t-shirts on a daily basis, but I also have plenty of polos, sweaters, button downs from Lacoste, RL, Hugo Boss, etc. Also jeans I usually buy from Lucky, Hugo Boss, True Religion (just 1 pair), and of course Levi's. I'm not a complete brand whore but I'm not gonna dress like a slack jawed faggot either.

Nope, still wrong. I gave you two examples and I can give you a dozen more. People don't buy branded clothing because they lack self-esteem, just you. ;) and no I didn't put words "into" your mouth. I only disagreed with you.

How are those Uggs holding up?

Wear whatever you want to wear.... but:

1. If you think it is going to get you laid, or you need it to get laid you need to work on figuring out who you are and get comfortable in your own skin. The rest will follow.

2. If you think it will get you respect.... for every person that thinks you are "something" for how you dress there will be another that thinks "you are really something" (i.e., think you are a loser) for how you are dressed. You will never impress everyone. Just be who you are.

3. Good clothes oftentimes fit better, feel better, and are a higher quality. But that does not mean you have to be a bitch about it all. You wear what you wear - who gives a F.

4. You really are a sad person if you have to dress up for your car. You should see a shrink or something and figure out who you are.

If you are a nerd then you are a nerd, embrace it and enjoy your life - do not fight it. Be who you are. Relax. Living life trying to be something or put off an image or whatever is a lot of BS - just be who you are and do not fight it. If you fight it and try to be this or that that the culture "respects" you will ruin your life.

i have to ask .. what kind of car do you drive?

if you drop 40k a year on clothes, you gotta be rocking something baller

I buy clothes when my old ones are worn out. My favourite t-shirt is 10 years old and I still wear it. In fact, my newest t-shirt is about 3 years old. Until last month, when I bought 2 new pairs of jeans for about £70 - cheap non-branded - I hadn't bought anything in about 2 years or more.

I don't own a suit, a dress shirt or a tie. I own one pair of shoes and have worn them only to weddings and funerals. Anyone that expects me to dress up for any other reason can go fuck themselves.

Stop being so free, you're scaring the children ;)
