Ive used the ads on the left two blocks of 336x380 and text on the left. I always had pics beside the adsense listings. That always gets me around 30-45% ctr.

A QUESTION: Waht does everyone do when payouts drop off to pennies a click. I have 2 ad boxes even sometimes just one, and this is for the keyword lawyer which the payouts are typically 80cents to 1dollar. Does everyone have multiple accounts so when one account drops off just swap out the code?

chris is right, I get the same CTR as everyone else, usually better, without any images. It's a waste of time looking for them.

Hmm, interesting. I will try to turn off my images in my templates soon. Although I'm a little worried my overall CTR will drop. Right now I run some sites with consistent 80% CTR and I believe that is attributed to my images. Taking them off will tell... :)

Oh, must have missed that posting then. Anyways, I'm running a test with 3 different versions, so lets see which ones performs best. Right now I got a 60% conversion on the one I would have expected it the least .. :D

I was wondering if you could give feedback on my arbi template. It is very similar to the original one Chris posted:

I know there are better ones out there, but I want to stick to a proven one before testing templates out...right now I'm testing niches, ad copy and such.

I've received about 8 7Search clicks (honeslty WTF) so far but no AdSense ones yet, so it might be the niche. I'm working on putting up pages as fast I can...I originally aimed to do 3 per day (6 so far) but I am realizing how easy these things are to spit out...right now niche finding is proving to be the hard part.
I'm gonna even try some that don't seem that great (maybe .60 c on 2-3 positions on overture) just to check things out.

So I've been trying this for the past week or so. Just recently I started getting a positive ROI. And 7search never calls me. So finally I end up calling, and they tell me that they're going to call me back in 30 minutes but don't. So a couple days later I'm reaching the $5 limit without verifying the account. So I call in, the guy says whoops about what happened the other day. He informs me my accounts put on "hold" and transfers me.

While being transferred I notice in my e-mail this just came.

Even though none of my keywords are off at all, all pointing to relevant sites.

So I end up talking to this lady and she preaches to me how I'm "spamming the database", and "doing arbitrage" and how that's not okay. So wtf. That's the ONLY thing 7search is good for. Has anyone else EVER got this?

This isn't in their webmaster guidelines at all.
 
Maybe I should've reminded her that without people "SPAMMING THE DATABASE" she wouldn't have a job. And 7search wouldn't be a company. I guess I'll try Searchfeed.

Yeah my account got held as well. I called and some lady said b/c I was targetting keywords that weren't related to the site. Ex: my site is about widgets, and i was targetting something like paper widgets. She said I had nothing about paper widgets on my site.

So basically it sounds like the keywords have to be 100% relevant.
I'll stick to the big 3 I think, but hows searchfeed? I heard the traffic was decent, but no one click the ads.
 
Yup, that's fucking bullshit. They need to rethink this quickly or they are gonna get fucked. I would bet 90% of their advertisers are arbitragers and the other 10% are stupid people thinking it will convert for aff or their business.

Searchfeed. 150 uniques = 0 clicks.

Same niche and same templete that was working fine for 7search users.

I'm not too worried at the moment. I now have around 300 arbi sites up (setting up another 160 or so tonight) and they all have images. I make sure they're not aligned with each ad and that they are separated enough away from the ad block.

What makes me nervous is that the CTR is sometimes too good. :) I get CTRs of like 300% in some of the niches almost daily but of course that doesn't have to be attributed to the images.
