Are you talking about one ad here? I usually use a leaderboard 728x90 and if there are 2, 3 or 4 ads at a time, the font size is still the same... so there's no problem to match adsense font type and size.
Nope, I got that 250x250 one, which unfortunately varies.

By the way, is there a good reason to display the ads in a frame instead of directly embedding them?

Guys my only successful niche went from .50 cpc to .07cpc...not sure if you would definite that as a "penny click" but would that be smartpricing? CTR rates are awful as well as the ads totally changed.

I read before that you just wait for the smartpricing to past. Is that what you guys are doing (if so how long) or is my niche killed?

Thanks

Alex

hi. Im new here and i have been going through this post for a week now and printing important tips and such. I'd like to say thanks for all the suggestions and side tips you all have pointed out to noobs like me.

I just started with arbi'ing and was wondering if having a generic domain name is better than any domain.

Ex. I have an Auto Tuner site/domain name/url and i try to host arbi sites on it

Is that a bad thing to do and will it reduce the clicks and impressions i get on each site?

What country are your clicks coming from?

Well, it depends. are you going to only do niches within lets say the CAR industry? There are more niches in there than you could possibly imagine. Then you could go with a general domain with a car theme.

Or are you going to span the spectrum and do misc stuff. Gold watches/Car wax/refigerators/flight simulator controls. That would cut into your button line buying alot of domains. I'd then get something general to fit. such as consumer-reviews . com(*I've never been there would be a porn page for all I know.*)

How about this! You create one page. Get a set of keywords and bid on them for X amount. and then SWITCH it to the other domain to see which ones does better? Or run them at the same time. 7search allows that don't ya know?

Ok, so for the first day I not only broke even but actually made a couple of bucks, and I finally seem to have found a good paying niche (my first $1 click, yah!) with some cheap traffic available, however my CTR still sucks. I did manage to get up from around 15% to 25-30%, but I can't seem to get any higher. So if anyone would be willing to take a look at one site and we give me few hints, I'd greatly appreciate it!

gopherr,
How much traffic are you getting from 7search per site?

My highest paying click so far has been $1.88. But my average CPC is now $0.45, with PPC at $0.11

My CTR is still very high for many of my sites. Some at 200% or 300%. Some of my newer sites though have a consistent 0% CTR, which I suspect being caused by wrong ads shown on the page (and yes, I have used Adsblacklist).

My ROI is positive, but only 1.2:1. And my traffic volume still sucks ass.. :(

EDIT: I'm getting a little discouraged with arbi now after testing constantly for 2 months and seeing slow and disappointing results (with over 400 sites up!). Not giving up yet though, but I'm starting to wonder if PPC->Aff. is more down my alley.. :)

Today is actually the first day that I'm getting a good CPC and it seems that this is my first "real" niche. I also just started with PPC Arbitrage last week, so take these all with a grain of salt:

- Around 60-80 visitors per niche site once the day is over
- Average PPC for all sites 0.04, for my good sites 0.03
- CTR of 20-25% (but hey, it doubled each day, so that's probably more rewarding than starting with 40-50% and staying there)
- ROI today: 2:1, Overall 1:1

- Around 60-80 visitors per niche site once the day is over

60-80 per site??
You mean, per domain (which contains several pages/subfolders/subdomains)?
Or, per page/subfolder/subdomain (per URL)?

If it's 60-80 per page I must say I'm very impressed. Even the mighty chrislingle pulled off "only" 47 per site at the start of his thread, which is still impressive to me. :)

But I take it that you mean 60-80 visitors for the whole niche combined. :)
I get an average of 74 visitors daily COMBINED across 294 of my active sites...

Lol, yes that's 0.25 visitors per site per day :D

Anyone jealeous?

Images, that was a saturated market cause I was not trying to kill a good niche for anyone. I have some pages getting almost 150 clicks a day from adwords alone, then there is one that makes me $2k a day! I can also run faster than a speeding bullet and leap the empire state building in a single bound! don't believe me? prove I am lying, why would I lie? it is true and I said so, fuck all you haters who say I am full of shit!

No, I do mean per URL (ie foo-bar.domain.com, as I use subdomains for each site). But I also have very broad keywords and just let the ad "filter" them: If my niche for example covers honda breaks, I'll cover everything from honda *, breaks *, cars *, car parts etc. I figure If they read the ad (which does say honda breaks) and they click on it, I don't really care if they originally were looking for ford focus car lights. I tried focusing on the niche before, but with 7Search I just wasn't getting enough traffic.

AdWords of course is a whole different game.

LOL :D:D:D:D :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown: :D:D:D:D

Chris,
I never said you were lying or full of shit. :-) I actually gave you a compliment.

You said not too long ago that you still pull in around $600 daily profit from arbi, correct? And that half or the majority of traffic is from 7search. If that's still the case - I am still impressed :-)

I have decided to move on to Adwords though as I feel 7search just isn't enough by itself.

images, my arbi income has been over 600 a day for quite some time, before the start of the thread - my statements were not directed at you!

it was in jest!

never bothered to read the thread cause most of the time they are 100% shit waste of time. there is no secret to getting something out of 7 search. if you have to make 200 pages to get 1 profitable then that is the cost of business!
however, I have never had a problem with 7search. I opened 4 accounts in Dec. and 1 so far this year with not a peep from them, well a peep but it was more like, "would you like us to suck you off standing up or would you like to lie down?"

jdog, it depends, if she is hot and you are lying down you see more but if she is not a perfect 10 then maybe stand so all you see is the top of her head, however there are some sick bastards who like ugly girls
