The Walking Dead - Season 2 Starts Tonight!

Indeed. It might be a filler like in anime. Has someone read the comics to confirm that this is a filler? I hope they give up and move on

they did not lose a girl in the comics, they did go to hershels farm and hang for a bit

carl did get shot in the comics but not from being behind a dear, Otis thought he was a zombie in the distance

Carl shot Shane in the head back at the first camp though in the comics so little bit different story arc

About what issue of the comic that the series is up to now? I'm downloading the comic now, but don't want to read past the series.

I'm not sure, I read the graphic novels and so far the first season was pretty much "days gone by" and the second season is "miles behind us"

I would guess the show is about up to comic #10 (out of 90)

if you start reading the comic it will be difficult to stop at where the show is

Pretty sure that the comic and the show aren't linear as well. Darabont chnsged The storyline to be more in line with a television audience. I'd say go ahead and read all of the comics. There will be similarities but differences as well.

Why are we all ok with this mid season finale bullshit? It's a disturbing trend. I say we occupy some street in Hollywood to protest these shenanigans.

I for one enjoyed the wrap up of both the barn walkers and Sophie plot lines coming together. Fuck waiting until Feb though.

Well at least they wrapped up the story line for mid season. When shows don't wrap anything up and take a break it's the worst.

I think a lot of this 10 to 12 episode per season bullshit started with the writers strike a few years ago.

Back in my fucking day a season of shows was 24 fuckin episodes for every show! That's the way it was and we liked it, we loved it!!!

.........so im always watching its always sunny in Philadelphia. yesterday was the first time watching that show. I DVR'd 3 episodes. It's pretty fucking cool. I gotta go netflix the previous episodes or something because this show looks pretty cool

this show is so dumb.. im watching it just for the lulz. i dont believe one can think 90% of its plot or peoples action make any sense

When the Farm owners got told about a small girl going missing did they not think that maybe it was Sophie, considering she must have arrived at the farm, and been sheparded into the barn... did the person who did that maybe think, hey, there was a little girl, come check to see if it was her instead of roaming aroudn teh World to find her.

Weak!

they said otis was the one who would round up the walkers and put them in the barn. and he never got a chance to tell them or find out they were looking for a girl.

It was Otis who brought the walkers in and he's dead. Not sure if he knew that they were looking for Sophie.

How would they have known it was Sophie? They never saw her before, they where trying to hide these family, friends, neighbors, etc... walkers. As far as they where concerned they where just more sick people.

Their seem to be a lot here whom don't care about the story telling at all, they just want zombies and zombies getting killed. There is so much good underlying story, acting, and foreshadowing it's unbelievable. I find the subtle things more interesting than anything. Killing tons of zombies over and over will get nothing but old, and cause the series to basically become non existent after a couple seasons.
