Real Life Reputation Management Uses

Find Parasites, Be Proactive, Domainate The Niche

So I have a term we have been watching for an ORM client of mine. I notice on July 2nd ( first red arrow ) that someone popped out of nowhere and grabbed the 10th spot.

No biggie since I can create a few parasite and throw some GSA links on it and have it pushed down.

However, today ( July 10th ) there are 2 people that jumped up under this 10th spot newcomer ( 2nd red arrow ). What I didn't expect to find was these 2 new trash talking URLs to come up and possibly hit the front page in the next week.

Because I was able to see this jump today, I can take proactive measures in keeping them pushed down and keeping my client happy, charge him more money, and keep him from calling me at 2AM about this.

Not All Doom & Gloom

Is This Shit Even Working?

It's not all about proactively monitoring for ORM. When I hire out parasite creation and link building, I want to know if what I am doing is working.

For another client, I purchased out parasite creation and link building with different vendors. I dont have the time to insert each of their URL's into a "regular" shitty rank tracker, so I just monitor the keyword I gave them all and I can instantly tell what is working and what isn't ( OR IF THE WHOLE SERP JUST MOVED DUE TO A ALGO UPDATE ).

DN7KgDx.jpg

Something is working. Most of the sites I had made from at least 1 provider popped into the SERPs all on the same day. 1 of them is doing better then the others and that was from a certain link builder I used.

Now I know what is working ( for now ) and what is not in 1 clear view for this client.

Trust the SERPS for they do not lie

This has actually renewed my interest in SEO, after 5 months of running the SEO efforts of a marketing agency and getting worn down by it. Going to help massively with some of my projects.

My vote goes for .ru, I know it's not going to happen though.

Also affiliate account.

I feel like the affiliate accounts should only be given to a very select few, you know .. to protect the brand and stuff..

CCarter - I just found your other thread with the July 4 bonus... is it too late if I give you my money now to get the bonus?

Thanks

XH

I can guess who this provider is :1bluewinky:

sure..... lol

ru might be a bit back in the pipeline. nl seems to be taking charge right now and also all english speaking countries

We will be selecting by hand who gets to do this upfront. First people we hit will be mailers

If you missed out, Id have to say sorry man. However you can PM me and maybe we can work something out.. OK?

.nl for my account would be awesome.

Noted

thanks!

3rd vote already for .nl, keep them coming :music07:

Also noted

UK is still being worked on. It's scraping just fine but we are working out some other bugs and optimization issues of scaling so fast right now. Also working on UX for the whole UK and other search engines as well.

Update: ORM Takeover

What you are seeing here is a controlled ORM take over of a brand. Lots of new properties in the SERPs, completely replacing the old properties in a strategic manner. As a small business owner or an agency with clients, this is the type of stuff you want to monitor.

orm-7-11-2014.png

Update: Feedback

A reworking of the notification system is in the works, as well as fixing and resolving the feedbacks we've been getting. :)

The User Interface is currently being updated for International intentions - bit tricky, but I think we got it right in crunch time.

Super Beta Accounts are almost done guys. :( At the end of the BST, we'll be closing and some time afterwards announcing the new tiered plans. If you still want a grandfathered account get in now before it's too late. :)

P.S. Did anyone else notice that small earthquake 2-3 days ago across the major SERPs? SERPWoo noticed, and we were able to analyze exactly what got dropped so we can make adjustments for our own properties. :)

Will someone with almost no SEO experience be able to use this?

Edit:
1) Are you going to be adding any other payment options (like PayPal) before the beta ends?
2) Why are you able to email me my password in plain text, isn't it hashed...?

Possibly, but this is a more advanced SEO Tool, so it might be overwhelming for a person new. They can get a free account and just watch the progress of sites as they move up and down and input some starter keywords to get an idea. But really that's the equivalent of giving a new driver the keys to a Formula 1 car. Some experience is recommended, but not "required".

2) Why are you able to email me my password in plain text, isn't it hashed...?

Hash? We don't have any hashbrowns - I left Burger King - flashbacks bro, flashbacks. This is SEO software... No more hashbrowns.

But seriously, I was waiting for a neckbeard to say something about that. It is always recommended you use a strong unique password possibly generated using several sources of entropy to generate a SHA1 level algo generated password.

As an individual, you are the first line of defense in your security. It's generally recommended to never use the same password more than once. During the beta stage we need a lot of things turned on and off to make sure systems are functioning. Otherwise you can't properly tell whether it's the system, the email servers, or the end customer's problem on their side. There are instances where individuals don't check the junk/spam folder, even though our spam score is usually under 0.9, some systems will still have it going into junk/spam, shit happens, we have to be on top of that.

As we move out of beta lots of new functionalities and security will be turned on. Similar to how the whois data, ahrefs, and some other engines are only turned on for a bit then turned off, we have to ensure things are working accordingly and are stable.

I also don't see a password reminder request on your account. How many accounts do you have with us? And why do you have multiple free accounts?

However, if you have any recommendations on anything you see, we're always happy to hear. One thing we've made sure of is all browser communication is not only behind SSL, but we also have a PCI compliant environment even though no credit card information EVER hits our server since we use Stripe.

There are several SEO Tools that don't even bother with the basics of SSL. I believe a fedora tip might be in order since we at least got that portion correct. We actually do have a new password creation module, for rolling password resets every 90 days, in place as well as a weak password detection module that will inform users their password is way too weak to use - and when it's time to turn it on, we'll do it along with the other security measures to ensure privacy at all levels. I think you can appreciate and understand in beta, shit happens, and you have to be able to figure out what's going on quickly.

Edit:
1) Are you going to be adding any other payment options (like PayPal) before the beta ends?

No means NO. We've answered this several times already:

A lot of you guys are hounding us for Paypal. I will repeat this again, we have no plans at all for taking Paypal atm. If you are worried about handing over your credit card details, then please give mommy back her card and crawl back to the basement.

Paypal is never going to be an option. If that is holding you back, then I'm sorry we could not create a meaningful and SERP dominating relationship between us. We'll just have to resort to remembering this moment when we made contact (I think your the top in this case):

9TRSkHN.gif

We had our moment, no?

Also, We hired InfoSec Taylor Swift (@SwiftOnSecurity - We follow each other on twitter) for future security auditing:

1DnJgVw.gif

She also follows @failymonsters (really, since the avatar is the cookie monster, I think it's just the cookie monster moonlighting), so you're in very good hands.

Update: Charted Sightings Coming Sooner Than Later

So I was in the Local SEO Skype chat, and someone wanted to know if the exposure of Yahoo Answers was decreasing, and I thought to myself - damn, yeah I actually can chart that out now. So we're working on an immediate module that will chart the exposure and reduction of not only parasites but also your own domains. Soon you'll be able to see in the domain section, a chart of increases or downward trends of the popular domains you are monitoring, including Yahoo Answers and other majors that you want to track. Imagine a world, where you can type in a domain, and see the historical data of whether Google has started to decrease or increase the exposure of that domain, so you'll know if you should focus your SEO efforts on Yahoo Answers or should you move resources to something else?

7yICOEW.gif

Yeah baby!! It's on its way!

Update: 5 More Days Until Super Beta Accounts are closed

Only 5 days left until there are no more options for Super Beta Accounts. :( Get in now, or forever pay a higher price for these added benefits! (And I predict another upgrade wave for EVERYONE coming soon...)

Update:

So someone asked me what the goal of SERPWoo was.

I had to think bout it for a minute. The best answer I could give was actually a quote from my dear friend Percy who now lives in my city of Louisville and calls it home. This was the best mission statement and overall goal I could think of.

Outting A Niche:

Yep, I don't care. I've been monitoring this one for over 240+ days and I am showing you some OLD data too so Im not worried about backlash. This is just to show you how powerful this is.

DqfqtU1.png

So what are we looking at?

I wanted to break into a similar niche to this. One that is spammy as hell and is very volatile. I wanted to know in the past 2 months, was there a site that ranked 2 months ago that STILL ranks today. One that I know shouldn't rank ( its not an authority ) and has a lot of spammy ass links ( like SPAMWOW ).

What you're seeing is the site http://www.italia-hotel.com/ which has been hacked ( or domain dropped, picked up and recreated ) and a parasite page added to it at the URL Discount Gucci Replica Handbags Sale, Fake Gucci Belts Outlet Online.

This has ranked in a very dirty and spammy niche for a long time and it is not an authority site on the subject. I watched this URL go from 6th, to 4th, to 9th today.

There could be any reason why its 9th today, but its not out of the SERPs and it has held on to front page for over 2 months, so its a site I want to look out for spammy links and history.

Get Those Links:

You know you need to find out what this fool has been doing. Lets pull from ahrefs and find out. It looks like they have over 25k links.

WjQjCsn.png

But damn, its really only from about 377 domains, meaning most of the links are being spammed OVER AND OVER again on the same domains.

rCpcFpR.png

And a lot of the links are root domain links from the look of it meaning that home page links still work, massive spam links on the same domains work, hacked pages still work, PBN's still work. SPAM STILL WORKING.

But is this someone that is hitting massive spam at warp speed velocity or over a long time? Uhmmm....

wT7hI72.png

Looks like a shit ton of velocity in no time.

So what about anchors? Prob a bunch of raw URL and brand right? Hell no.

zDPqmF7.png

My Next Steps:

Well, you know me. I grabbed the CSV export of all the links in their profile and also the anchors and made note of the %'s and loaded them up into GSA, SeNuke, and SPAMWOW and let it blast to get as many of the same links as this URL.

Now, I can't get the homepage links and PBN's this site had, but I know where I can buy them at places like SAPE and other BSTs around the web. Being well connected can help with those harder links.

Why You Showing This?

Becuase I want you to see the multiple opportunities for using our tool.

You guys mostly know me as some blackhat SEO guy, but Im actually an opportunist at heart and anytime I can find out what's working and where, I grab it at the jugular and run with it.

I love seeing how spam still works, just like years ago when I created the first dripable blog comment service here, or when I outed Payday Loans with SPAMWOW and created a shit ton of massive hate on my head from the cartel in the UK because I could walk into Payday Loans and rank shit left and right and prove it in front of everyone with SPAMWOW.

The reason I am showing you this is, don't believe anything anyone tells you EVER, look at the data. We provide you the data you need.

Small Update:

Brief hiccup on stats this morning. We generally have the info you want/need by 9am. Today we ran into some issues and updates are running now on the servers. The stats should be done in less than 2 hours.

Looks like the neckbeards and competitors are already trying to shut us down which is what happens after I expose a niche or method here.

After this thread closes the prices will be going up and I won't be sharing any more info here. You will have to be on our mailing list/forum ( which means you have to be a member ) to get any more juicy updates and insights that we share.

Parasite Hunting 101:

Now I will say this.. What I am about to show you is slanted slightly for data that is in SERPWoo and NOT the whole Internet. You should also be hunting for parasites and results in YOUR niche to see what's working.

Now that I have cleared that up, lets take a look at all the domain that are ranking across all our keywords in SERPWoo to see what domains pop up multiple times based on URL that are ranking today.

I took the time to pull these results for domains that at least appeared 20 times or more today across all our data. Below is the dump:

How About Since Last Monday?

I actually had no more room in this post for the list above, but this is the kind of data we not only want to bring to you globally as we track it and show you it, but also show you this same data SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUR NICHE/SERP/KW

Guys, we have big plans for SERPWoo. If you don't get in now, you candy ass will be sorry when you're softer than Roseanne's son
