Ron Paul is only concerned with any sort of repression or coercion if it’s the government doing it. Otherwise, individuals/companies/markets can trample on individuals (within reason).
Well there is a great deal of logic behind that approach. If an individual or a company harms me I have recourse. If my government harms me I have none. Therefore, it would seem to be far more important to be protected from government wouldn't it? We can play a little game if you'd like. You tell me how many people were killed in the last century by individuals and companies and I'll tell you how many were killed by governments and we'll see who wins.
