Prices double For New Thread. 77$ Matters :(

I don't have a dog in this fight, except I have made a lot of money through Wickedfire, and none through BHW because the mods there play games with approving sales threads, and in some cases you have to compete against the forum owners themselves.

This is more a lesson in pricing. BHW and WF only have to be equal in price at a certain volume where they are in direct competition. But they aren't. Many people buy threads on both.

If you're doing anything remotely profitable, you pay WF's higher fees because you still get a solid roi and frankly, more buyers is what you're after, not necessarily reducing your cost per buyer because that is diminishing returns, while scaling up is exponential returns.

I totally support the price increase. Personally, I think it'll make the BST section cleaner and more reliable for sellers as well as buyers.

Agreed. Huge annoyance of mine. I've been able to build a rapport with a few mods to get my threads approved <24 hours, though. I'd recommend doing the same, and only contact those mods, for anyone interested in trying to sell there.

Was Just about to buy a New Thread in Links and Seo section and came to know that Wf is charging 77$ for a new thread.
Seriously ?

I hope the next rate increase will take BST rates to $77 an hour.

Wickedfire is fast becoming the preferred forum for webmasters in the 1%, and I'm honored to be among so many successful basement dwellers.

For anyone bitching and crying about the increase I have only one thing to say, make more money!!! As this would make said increases, a non-issue. I for one am extremely happy that they once again got rid of the bottom feeders from the equation.

Even at $77 you're talking literally pennies on the dollar that you can make when doing business activities in the BST. Create better services bros

In 2010, we bought banner ads on WF for I think, $5k a month. And we thought that was a good deal at the time.

Food for thought.

At first I was surprised but then I realized the people complaining are just the idiots that offer shitty services anyways. If you cant make more than $5/day on a service on wf, chances are the sller fails at life.

Can you pay with EBT Cards?

Still wishing for permanent threads that are paid to renew on a semi-monthly or monthly basis. The price is fine, but creating brand new threads every 2 weeks is a bit of a drag.

As a very infrequent buyer, the high price tag reassures me somewhat that the worst peasent fiverr service peddlers can't afford to post. Much less clutter to sort through.

Though, shouldn't legit sellers be happy with less competition? Higher barrier to entry should be good for established sellers no?
