I don't have a dog in this fight, except I have made a lot of money through Wickedfire, and none through BHW because the mods there play games with approving sales threads, and in some cases you have to compete against the forum owners themselves.
This is more a lesson in pricing. BHW and WF only have to be equal in price at a certain volume where they are in direct competition. But they aren't. Many people buy threads on both.
If you're doing anything remotely profitable, you pay WF's higher fees because you still get a solid roi and frankly, more buyers is what you're after, not necessarily reducing your cost per buyer because that is diminishing returns, while scaling up is exponential returns.
