Their affiliate agreement says no trademark bidding and no direct linking. I wonder if they'll make exceptions to those rules.

I like how they are actually showing you who you will be working with and kinda letting you get to know them. I think that's a very smart move on their part. The more comfortable you feel with your AM the better the communication and overall experience.

And yes, it helps that they are quite attractive as well.

Most of the CPA and affiliate networks I work with have an affiliate manager listed for my account and I get them on the phone or IM if needed.

Read it again. It says
These restricted promotional methods include the agreement by Partner to refrain from trademark bidding and direct linking on search engines including but not limited to Google, Yahoo, MSN, when the Merchant program prohibits such activity.
Notice the part I bolded? It's only prohibited if that particular merchant prohibits it.

The application form has "Direct Link" as one of the promotional methods you can check off when applying. This makes me think that there are at least some merchants who allow it.

Just got an email that Blockbuster tracking is down for them, and to pull any campaigns for the moment (though I'm not running any, myself). I guess some kinks need to be worked out...

Thanks drm. I didn't notice that the first time I read it.

The text links for Singlesnet have been screwed up for me all week. The banner ad links work but the text links are going to Singlesnet internal tracking login page for some reason. So yeah, it looks like there are a few kinks still.

Would've thought that'd be resolved by now. Seems as simple as PJ changing the destination URL. I've worked with the director of affiliate management at Singlesnet before (he used to be my Azoogle AM), and he's usually very responsive to any issues, so I'm wondering where the issue actually is.

well, if the reporting was RT, I'd feed it bigger campaigns. It's got that same wonky reporting as cj tho :repuke:

currently, they only have 1 campaign in my current industry.

cool 3d graphs and a lot of easy to read reports that are easy to get to and figure out.

couldn't find anywhere on the site how they pay out or how often.

either way.... the campaigns are making money so it works.

I've noticed a downside to this network unless I have missed it somehow or you get access to the information once you have an account and your logged in. When you go to contact them, it just brings up an email form and nothing else. Where is their business address, phone number, AIM support details, etc.

I very rarely and if not at all will work with a cpa network that only uses a contact email form. It's very easy for a network to not reply to emails and say something like "sorry, it seems that we have had an issue with our contact form, there seems to have been a minor problem with the email script meaning that we didn't receive any of your emails."

So who ever is signed up, could you please tell me if they have more contact details once you are logged in, like an AIM contact, phone number, etc.

i don't like the fact that it's like CJ where you have to 'apply' (and get accepted) to promote an offer.

there's also a lot of oddball advertisers such as barstools.com, biggerbras.com, christmas trees galore, dartboards.com etc. etc. ..... definitely not your traditional cpa network.

To be honest...
There's nothing on there that is that great as far as things to promote.

I do however like the cookies (if they're not lying). Like for instance Flycell, that would be wicked to plant a cookie and if the user decides to sign up later... Woot sauce?

pepper jam

Pepper jam's marketing strategy makes sense. I don't think their banner is tacky or over the edge but rather it just grabs your attention. Almost every affiliate network has their ways of doing that; like the Rocket Profit affiliate network and their luminous red banners and Media Whiz and their city skyline...

We are now in the process of reviewing your application for the pepperjamNETWORK private beta and will get back to you in a timely manner

I've been waiting for a couple of days now, anyone else ?
