I've ridden the MARTA trains a bunch of times. People new to Atlanta would be the ones to fuck up and do something that stupid. Atlanta is majority black with one hell of a lot of immigrants.
That said most people in Atlanta are not terribly thin skinned so most would probably just cuss her out and walk away. Then again there are ghetto rats...

I work around a few Black Americans. The ones that are the most racist are the ones that look for any excuse to label a White Person as prejudiced. They fail to understand that a white person may not like them because of the way that are not because of their color.
I don't think it's totally their fault though. Most of them grew up with a parent that experienced the segregation era of the 60's. That and all the entitlement programs that followed. Very few make heroes out of the very good and decent Black People in this world. Instead they look up to gangsta rappers and gangsta wannabees.

There are plenty of good and decent "black" people to look up to. It is just most do not know of any. Besides there are just as many stupid "white" people as "black" people. They just are not blasted on the TV and personified the same way in the media.
3 Steps to get out of herd mentality
1. There are just people in world stupid and smart.
2. Stop trying to categorize people.
3. Realize some people's points are valid although they may not be politically correct or your favorite thing to hear.
Then you will be on your way to having real critical thinking skills and formulating your own thoughts.
