Oh Noes! The secret is out! (techcrunch article)

I'm sure this is all true, but it looks like he got caught up in a typical Tech Cruch BS sensationalized article and went shooting his mouth off, demonizing an entire industry. Techcruch is a little ridiculous but they obviously know how to get people riled up and visiting their site.

Oh for sure I completely agree and admitted after I said this that some things he said shouldn't have been. I guess I just know him on a more personal level and can say I don't think his intention was to tarnish the industry...but who knows.

"Swell Guy" or not, by pretty much outlining most of the tactics on a site targeted at consumers more so than advertisers/affiliates, he's basically saying 'Stay the fuck away from quizzes, games, ads, etc, advertisers/affiliates are evil...'

Almost like he ran his campaigns dry and figured its not gona hurt him if he gets a traffic increase due to the revelations.

To be fair, incentive offers are the shit of the industry, and drive down CPAs/drive out advertisers. Everything else in that article, not a good idea...

Zynga decides to use tatoo media as a scapegoat: Zynga Takes Steps To Remove Scams From Games Hopefully techcrunch will stfu about this now.

What is it with these assholes? They reap huge profits from allegedly scamming their users then when it gets outed in a news story they suddenly address it and put the blame on someone else(tatto) to save face. Take some responsibility, it's not like the offers just popped up in their apps on their own.

Hello friend,

I think this Dennis Yu is liar and person bad. Anu Shukla is person good and no would do thing bad.

Good luck bro

..So I'm guessing I should hold off for a while on FB? Haha.

I don't think this will do much. Are the people that normally fill out these offers the type to read TechCrunch anyways?

think about it differently. after having these "schemes" featured on TC facebook probably will do something against them, like they did back in spring after TC talked about all those bizop ads on FB

Tracking down his domains now...let's see what Dennis has up his sleeve.
If anyone else wants to join in on the fun, here's a tip to save some time:
The registrant of BlitzLocal.com ("Stierler, Austin") also has an e-mail at implux internet. So if a path leads there, it's probably still them. Anything out of place having to do with Iowa=Austin.
