NEW Facebook Ads

I ran a couple of ads on FB in a foreign language.

They have come back basically saying the landing page doesn't match the ad , which I presume is because they assesor isn't the brightest spark and it's using a proxy matching the offers landing page so it's probably showing some smiley BS instead.

Anybody else have this issue?

You have to run a cloaking script or put a direct link to the offer website in prosper202 until after approval, then change the link to your affiliate link.

If you are submitting your ads in the evening and they are not getting approved, make sure your geo redirect is set so that it can still be viewed in the EU / IRL. When the Irish office is checking out a lander (after 5-6 pm PST?) if they don't see anything they'll just disapprove them.

update: it appears my account has been terminated because of activating and pausing campaigns with high budgets.

no day parting so not sure why activating and pausing ads is not ok... also when you run campaigns with lead caps you must pause when your cap is reached...

seems fucking ridiculous... be careful

Strange. I wonder what they're thinking. It seems so random.

something doesn't sound right...are you speaking with someone directly at facebook?

If anyone has any experience at all getting virtual Paypal cards to work on Facebook PM me please. I could really use some help. They accept my virtual card at first but the first billing never goes through and they can't charge the card. I always make sure they are multi-use cards so that shouldn't be the problem. Thanks!

Virtual cards won't work on fb. They work for the first approval transaction but won't on the 2nd because fb uses 2 different merchant accounts for the first authorization and the actual ad spend billing. All virtual cards are good for only one merchant and thats why they decline the actual ad spend charges.

WTF? All my campaigns for over a year now have a budget of $100,000, just out of habit now, but once upon a time that gave you max traffic. I'm screwed at some point, if thats true.

Need more info on this. Whats their exact reasoning and what do we do to accommodate their godly desires? Cunts.

Reporting discrepancies notice
Earlier last night, the Facebook ads system experienced a reporting issue which did not affect the delivery of your ads. Although your ads continued to run, we did not report any clicks for active ads running during this time for your account. The issue has now been resolved and full service has been restored. Your account will not be charged for clicks that are not reported in Ads Manager if you were paying per click (CPC). When making optimization decisions, we suggest you reference the performance statistics for your ads starting from 12:00 AM (PST) today. You can view this data by selecting "Today" from the drop down menu above your campaign and ads stats chart, which is defaulted to "Lifetime stats". We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Has the approval process gotten a lot stricter in the last week or two?

I can't get ads through that are the same as ones that previously went through on the first go, without a problem. Just basic stuff like email submits.

You should know by now the approval process isn't set in stone and changes daily. You just gotta keep submitting :)

Yeah, no shit. But these ads - exact ones and similar ones - I've always gotten through first go. Now all of a sudden I've tried 3 times in a row on several campaigns and nothing is going through.

I'm used to resubmitting in some verticals, with some ads.. just not these. something's changed.

They changed the terms for these. Take a look at the reasoning and you'll see a couple new lines added, which makes it a lot harder to profit off these types of offers.

Yep, I get it alot if changing from cpc to cpm then they'll dissalow it for the image that was aproved and running for days, just have to resubmit it I guess, probably depends which person reviews, some must be more lenient.

More of my ads are getting through since I made it a policy to challenge the disapprovals and made them deal with me personally. Most ads that I challenged were later approved. They actually apologized for the disapproval mistakes, but didn't give me any explanation for them.

I say if you're having approval problems, write back and hassle them.
