NEW Facebook Ads

Does anyone maintain a public list of offers that FB will ban you for running?

Specifically I'm interested in knowing whether these 3 are safe to run on FB:
  • Match.com
  • Flirt.com
  • Cupid.com
Thanks.

WOW!!! This is unbelievable.. im getting busy!

Cupid.com - is absolutely safe for promotion on Facebook. Flirt is going to be approved by Facebook in the near future. If anybody has any questions concerning these 2 FB apps - feel free to contact me

Started a campaign with 3 ads, 2 approved, 1 still pending. suggested bid was 0.17-0.30, bidding at 0.25. Still 0 impressions since its approved. been like 2 hrs. WTF is going on with my account.

Hey Guys!

Thanks for all the help and tips in this thread. I've FINALLY got my first two profitable campaigns.

I was reading throughout the thread and it seems pretty unanimous that you should not pause your campaigns because it will mess up your placement and CPC, that being said, how would you go apart day parting if that's the case?

Thanks!

if you wanna day-part without pausing the ads then just set the spend limit lower when you want the ad to stop sending impressions,

i.e.

keep it at 10 until the time you wanna start the ad, when the time gap is closed lower the bid back down to 10.

Has anyone had any success from Facebook ads? Can you target specific areas, genders and relationship status? I'm running 'speed dating' events and would like to show my advert on specific profiles only.

if you signed up for an account and poked around it a little bit, you'd be able to answer your own questions.

but yes, you can target by all those things

I notice that you get a LOT more volume using the # and a interest. All the # denotes is just that it's going to take related interests as well? So for example if I have #basketball, does it include

michael jordan
Nike ads

How does that work and more importantly how should we be using this as marketers? Of course I'm ready to "test it out", but I'd just like the rationale behind it.
