Did that last night. Created a fan page about recycling, submitted 50 or so ads with it. All got approved. Plan on doing this every day to boost that ratio in my favor.

Quick question Eric - from what I've read of your posts, you started out PPC with Facebook/dating, right? To put it bluntly - have you made a profit? I've started my own journal in the newbie section, and someone on there was telling me very strongly that dating isn't good for newbies, too many big publishers competing, to get out and try something else first, etc. Now, I know that dating is a crowded market, but I can't help but feel that even a big newb like myself can make a profit through dating, given enough persistence.

They just scare you + eliminate competition. Go for it.
Less talk with "gurus", more time creating campaigns. Real gurus have no time to "advice" newbs about anything + have no blog probably, etc.
 
Completely agree with you seolinker. I was planning on doing dating anyway... I like a challenge. I've always been like that.

i'd run dating on a diff acc just to not get fucked later once they disapprove XX ads.

dating is profitable though, just run it..dont listen to anyone else!
 
Fact is, multiple people had their accounts banned because they were running dating ads.

There are various reasons for that but running dating comes with a certain risk.

I've gotten profitable a handful of times and then each day at midnight, without fail, all my profitable ads were retro-disapproved. This happened many, many times.

So I kept re-submitting new ads trying to find one that would last (and was profitable) and never found anything that worked. Was still trying up until the other day when my account got banned (personal stayed in tact though luckily).

mGrunin has me thinking though that I could do it if I get another account (get profitable with dating I mean). We'll see, shit is discouraging as fuck though TBH when I think about the time I've put into trying to do this then just getting banned.

anyone have the billing addy problem with trying to add a new card? FB keeps telling me my billing address is incorrect even though it is definitely correct .. (address/card/name) haven't been used before..
 
whats up with approvals. Submitted ads about 18 hrs back and no one even looked at it. Should i just edit and resubmit again? Never had this issue before

lol obviously people still are I'm just saying is it really worth all the bullshit and work still... There is tons of money to be made elsewhere. I got out when they started cracking down last winter after my infamous Test and Keep iPad campaing :D

Damn do I miss the days making xx,xxx off zip submits per day!
