NEW Facebook Ads

Giving a heads up to those of you that are running similar images over several different accounts. Facebook is automatically recording the # tag of the image, so let's say that they really don't like a specific image; they record the # tag, and anytime that same image is submitted, it automatically becomes dis-approved. To change the # tag of an image, just add a border, change the color; even increasing the size of your image by 1 pixel up or down will change the code each time.

Along with this, they track similar # tag on different accounts. If you use the same image on 2 accounts, then they know that these two accounts are being run by the same individual. So if one account is subject to be disabled, both of them will.

Remember to keep an separate folder for each account, and slightly change the # tag for each image for each account.

No problem!

But trust me when I say that there are still a few other methods that Facebook uses to link up accounts by the same person; methods that affiliates don't even think off. I can't drop all of this information on a public forum though since they do follow these boards, and will only continue developing new ways.

+rep Still hard for them to link accounts just off images alone since a lot of people use the same images. But yeah, it'll get them to take a second look at those accounts.

Good tip on the separate folders for separate accounts.

Let me ask you, what type of advertiser takes copies an image from another advertiser? An affiliate. Affiliates constantly copy another affiliates winning images.

Well guess what, Facebook loathes affiliates. It's apparent on so many levels that I don't want to write an essay on it. Because of this feeling, they won't give you the benefit of the doubt when it comes to if you took someone's image, or if someone took your image. They'll just take down the account. Simple as that.

I just want to finish up with a last, very important tip: Stop acting like an affiliate!

If you want to last longer, you need to set yourself up as a small business. Does Facebook hate dating campaigns? NO! They hate affiliates that push dating. Look at the targets, Facebook clearly allows an advertiser to target single people interested in either sex; they obviously allow dating campaigns. But because affiliates pull shit like using someone else's images; edgy text, gay borders and go through 3 redirects in addition to submitting 100 ads a day (which incl submitting the same disapproved img over and over again); they hate that.
 
Just want to mention in this thread, that today was my first day profiting on Facebook, and I couldn't have done it without all of the helpful information you guys have posted here. Thanks, guys.

I'm doing dating right now, and while the profit wasn't big, it was PROFIT. I'm really looking forward to expanding into more campaigns, as well as different niches. The "different niches" part has me a bit stumped right now, because aside from gaming I don't really know what else is "allowed" on Facebook but I'll figure it out in due time! Thanks everyone.

Can someone please help me ?

I've created a nice CTR (.250%) ad targeting few US states that after 2 days has a suggested bid of 0.15 (was .25/.30)

If i edit it to add more US states (i need more fresh users) the suggested bid is higher again, as it was the first day. So i exit without confirming (i don't want to have a .25 CPC again)
But after 2 days i need to target a broader demo
What would you do guys ?

Anyone have an issue with approved ads not getting any clicks or impressions? It has been this way for me with 2 campaigns that I have set to above suggested CPC, yet I'm still not getting clicks/impressions. This on an aged account with $2k daily limit.
 
Haven't been in this thread in ages and decided to try out some facebook last night. I keep getting this no matter what i do.

"The content of your ad or Sponsored Story does not adequately reflect the product or service advertised"

Does anyone know if this disapproval reason is because of my ad only? I've switched it up reworded it about 10 times now and they are still giving me the same shit. It's a skin care product btw, are those banned?
