NEW Facebook Ads

Hmm..that's weird as fuck. With a 0.75, i would be expecting at least 0.03c..

Is your targetting very specific?
Specific?
My ad is targeting a certain age group with 'men' interested in 'women' without keyword targeting. Now thats not 'very' specific

Have you tried creating similar ads, and checked if they have the same problem? Or maybe resubmit the ad just slightly different. like an extra space in it.

I tried creating duplicate copies - same text same picture same text except the tracking code... no luck getting cpcs down. Maybe its the demographics I'm targeting? ;) I'm still making a 100% roi though

I finally got one of my cards through the CSC check and tried to submit my first ad last night. I have $150 in credits sitting in my "Funding" resources - but how do I use these towards my first ad instead of my cc?

When I go to "Place Order", the only two options I have are:
- a checkbox (that I can uncheck) to use the credit card on file
or:
- an option to enter new coupon codes.

If I uncheck the cc box, I get an error saying I didn't type in the correct info for address, name, cc number, etc. for a card. Wtf!?

Shouldn't it automatically use my funding credits first, or at least give me the option to?

How do you guys charge ads with account credits?

For me they simply took the money from the credit when they billed me. Didn't have to change anything. After that - they continued with my cc.

I don't have a checkbox there - only a message
"You will be billed on a credit card you have saved to your account. You can change your billing preferences in the Ads Manager."

I'm having issues with getting the CTR up. Even though they've now approved "sexier" ads that they usually wouldn't (containing the ladies), I still have a shitty 0.10 at best

What to do, what to do...

I couldn't get IQ to work either. Tried it direct linking for the US, Canada and Australia using the offers at C2M. Had no problem getting traffic but it didn't convert.

I also tried some dating ads using sexier photos than I normally would but they didn't get approved.

I'm trying lots of other things though we'll see how things go over the next few days.

yeah it took 65 clicks to get 1 mother fucker to enter a ZIP code.... a ZIP code!!

And the ad flat out told them to just enter their zip to get the free shit.

I tried 6 or 7 different email submits to lots of different demographics. Hundreds of clicks, no conversions.

My ad clearly stated they needed to enter their email but no luck.

I'm not good at this :(

Facebook traffic is crap to start with. With that said you have to find the right target for the offer. It's not going to convert like a targeted search from google so keep that in mind.

depends on the network too. SOme email submits are scrubbed/shaved like crazy.

Yeah ourfreestuff seems a little suspect to me. This isn't the first time I've sent them a decent amount of qualified traffic and not gotten conversions.

They can't blame my lander cause it was a direct link and they can't blame the ad because the ad stated exactly what the users has to do.....

I have tested this myself actually, in terms of telling users what to do vs. not, and it was on a zip submit offer too.

turned out that for the same demographic group, not telling them about having to enter the zip converts higher.

thanks jon for the initial info in the thread.

no problem getting ads approved now.
just a matter of testing niches.
