More adwords bans coming tonight and tomorrow..



Had 2 accounts banned overnight -- ran rebills briefly in 12/08-1/09, everything legit since then, no warnings.

F'em.
 
You'll need new cards on a new account with another address. Just use your middle name instead of your first. Just hope they didn't ban the entire domain.
 
Same here. 2 accounts banned last night!

In the past I ran rebill offers but I deleted all the campaigns 6 months ago.

In the last 6 months I had no quality score problems at all and I didn't receive any previous warning.

I have a MCC account and all the accounts under the same credit card name show no impressions.

Other accounts under MCC and different credit card seem to work.

Will they ban them in the next days???
 
So my account was disabled (not banned w/ a ban email, at least yet) due to landing page policy violations. Everything in that account that's live is direct linked, except for one campaign that's cloaked (but the cloak page is a proxied copy of the real site, so it's not a bridge since all links stay on the same domain). If the cloaking didn't work on that one campaign, it would just get dinged for incorrect URL. The AdWords rep let me know that she'll get back to me with more details about which landing page had the violation, so that's a step in the right direction.
 
Here's the thing - I have no ban or warning emails, just no impressions. The phone rep who took my call couldn't figure out what the reason for the problem was, and escalated it, so I should have an answer later today. My account access still works.
Either you're already banned and missed the email or you will be soon after this manual review.

sounds like my problem. except the cloaking thing. was just DL. appreciate it you let us know what the rep says.
 
I think this all pretty much confirms this is an automated process. They aren't manually reviewing accounts they are running a script.

Problem is the script seems to be going ape shit and banning even legit accounts. I'd hate to have to explain this to the stock holders.

But then it seems they are only banning dormant/low spend accounts?
 
This is the third time this account was under review but I got the axe this morning.
 
Having seen this thread i went and checked my Adwords account and it's still fine and dandy.

I've ran rebills, Acai, Google money system shit, the works. Maybe it's coming? To be honest i haven't used it for a good 6 months and couldn't care less, i'd like a clean account!

In many ways it's like the Florida Update, it's merely throwing down the gauntlet in my eyes and i just wanna fight them and find out how to get it legit. I won't ever let Google win. :) It's times like this where there's profit to be made.

While every fucker is busy whinging and saying how much of a cunt Google is and how their share price will drop and how they're going to screw them and how they're worthless... The people who fancy a challenge get back on their bike, work like a fucker to be legit, in Google's eyes, and clean up for months and months with relatively no competition.

I like it when people get banned, sure i'll struggle as much as everyone else, but once you find exactly what they want, the wonga is there for the taking. Can you imagine what it's be like to advertise on an empty Google?!
 
Google only likes you until they can make more money without you than with you. Then bam goodbye. Can you say you'd do differently if you ran the place?

Bottomline, the script is playing God with our accounts.

I called a rep. He's checking into it. Didnt give much info, but right now there is a slight chance I'll get my account back if they find an "error"...which I have a feeling they dont like to admit. He was very anxious to finalize our call and get off the phone. Weird.

Lets have everyone who's had a problem call them right now and put in a complaint. Hopefully with a large volume of calls, they'll escalate and resolve something.

Here's the number 1-866-2-GOOGLE (1 866 246 6453). Press Option #2 for Adwords Support. You'll then need to give them your Customer ID and the email you use with your Adwords account.

I'm looking forward to getting a clean account and cloaking the ever loving shit out of them. I know there are lots of other traffic sources to use but AdWords is just so damn versatile..

Agree. There is sooooo much traffic on content network.
