More adwords bans coming tonight and tomorrow..

Wow, yesterday was my birthday and this morning I woke up, checked my email, and got a nice present from Google.

Another account is still live though.

Here's the thing - I have no ban or warning emails, just no impressions. The phone rep who took my call couldn't figure out what the reason for the problem was, and escalated it, so I should have an answer later today. My account access still works.

looks like another wave went through today. one of my acc's got canned, too. but oh well.

i'm sure they're building themselfs a nice adwords blackhat scene there.

I hope they continue to ban until their shareholders are like "WTF: why did we suddenly lose 70% of our advertising revenue".

Google: "oh...we here at Google require a good user experience for our users and our PPC advertisers tend to promote products and services that are commercial in nature, which sometimes may cost the end user money.

Our users don't want to spend money or see anything in commercial nature when they click an ad. Therefore we have decided to permanently ban most of our active advertising base who generate millions of dollars per month for us in favor of our beloved users who make us no money"

I was banned too. Damn!

Shame on me for sticking w/ these bastards for so long.

Luckily I was like a thief in the bank vault in November and made a quick killing before this happened. In/Out.....banned. Lol

What gets me is that its "permanent". No exceptions. Goodbye....thanks for your thousands of dollars of quality, relevant content over the past few years, but we're simply done working with you FOREVER!

Go ahead Google...dig yourselves a hole. Don't be surprised when Bing outranks you in advertising dollars spent in a year.

What's interesting is that if you read on the Adwords support forums there are a LOT of people banned that certainly don't sound like affiliates. People who run legit towing companies, legit non-shady, non-rebill ecommerce sites, etc. One person said they've been running Adwords to their site for 10 years and it's the *only* site they've ever advertised and they got banned as well.

one of my old account got banned. On my adsense account email id they sent me a $50 free coupon to try adwords. I had not run campaigns on this account since a long time.

Toast.. Had this happen to one of my accounts. You can ALWAYS access banned accounts.

They banned my legit account. Looks like they are banning for every mis-conduct on acc in lifetime.. I had received last warning on account abt an year ago while running those "run car on water" offers. And since then I never run anything that goes against their guideline on this a/c. Still they banned this one. However, the account running the rebills has still have no problem.

I'll reply & ask them to re-instate it, though not sure whether they do this time or not..

Just get a new CC, and create a proxy/tunnel on your server. 2 of my accounts are fine, while one is not, so I'm questioning how closely they tie accounts. If this isn't resolved today, I'll just recreate the same campaigns in another account that's currently running.

Omg, all this is good, but if you plan to make somewhat serious monies in adwords, why not invest in another your company and even other pc along with isp, etc. etc. So it 1000% sure will not have any ties to you "old"

Or how about you say fuck it and go with an advertiser that actually cares about its clients, like bing or yahoo?
