I could give 2 shits about Google.. Hey Google, thanks for making me open my eyes to OTHER traffic sources. Now I don't even need AdWords lol, stupid fucking idiots. I make way more and have less headaches (no QS bullshit), dream come true to me.

woah there, QS is easy to beat. Still, adwords is bullshit, and I give a big fuck you to google.
I wish i'd been able to branch out earlier because now im stuck trying to find better sources of traffic. dammit.
This line about affiliate bridge pages is there for at least some month now. I personally switched to a lot of direct linking after all affiliate landing pages got hit after 2-3 weeks. Now that is also gone by slaps and bans.
What strikes me is the NEW statement about "no diet/weight loss ads". That's huge if they go through with it.
I have had account slaps account wide before but only for content, yesterday it seems I got an account wide slap on one of our accounts across the board. Nothing else runs on any campaign (even new ones we create) anywhere despite our ads being fine, good QS, and everything else looking fine. It didn't get banned but might as well as it's virtually useless now.
They're not going to ban diet/weight loss ads - just the scams. The line is preceded by "in some instances..." (think judysweightlossblog.com).
who are you kidding? they're banning everything, eventually. even single bill software (like registry cleaners, antivirus, etc) is getting nailed and permanent account bans are being sent out left and right. IT'S NOT JUST REBILLS
Yeah it's not just rebills. I run mostly lead gen for multiple industries including insurance, real estate, etc and they are slamming my quality score and even manually disabled a few of the ads because it was a bridge page and didn't capture the leads on that domain. Google is getting pretty shitty in all aspects, I am slowly moving away from using Google for a lot of things as they keep sucking people in and then controlling them. They also hate affiliates because they want to be the number one affiliates themselves aka Google mortgage leads and more coming.
It seems the diet-line was edited into the email separately. On the low landing page guidelines there is nothing about it: Are there any types of websites that merit low landing page quality scores? - AdWords Help
The "in some cases" is more for the sentences before. Website Types to Avoid: Dieting or weight-loss websites ... is a pretty strong statement. Since it's not on the official guidelines (yet?), I guess it's edited in to this specific email in order to make the point clear for that advertiser.

This is what really shits me off, their retroactive BS.

Due to my general disdain for this company, I NEVER click ads I am interested in. Advertisers always get a freebie from me. Thank god for the display url.
To those of you who got banned in this latest round of bannings: did any of you have an account manager/rep/account team at Google?
Fuck google, somehow someone stold my CC ran up $10,000 worth of charges on google they told me to dispute it which i did then they banned my domain till i pay them 10k even though they told me to dispute the charges.. they are the ones that made me aware.
