I've been experimenting over the last 2 weeks with trying to avoid anything that would give instant gratification and raise dopamine levels as much as possible. It's actually been pretty interesting. I've been more calm, less excitable, and focus has gone way up. It's still early, but I've noticed I've been slightly more productive. Still waiting to see what the effects will be a few more weeks from now.
Have you tried throttling your internet or specific pages to make them load slower?
If you have trouble sleeping, try using antihistamines like Benadryl, over-the-counter allergy pills that make you drowsy as a side effect. I pop two of those little pink pills a night and I’m out cold in twenty minutes. A $3-4 bottle from Walmart or any supermarket will last you more than half a year. Alternately, you can just drink more. Don’t combine alcohol and antihistamines unless you want to die in your sleep.
