Luxury cars - Buy them Used, or New?

Live the affiliate dream.... buy a ten years old car

Unlike a vast majority of people here I don't pretend to be a fucking baller. Not to say there aren't some big ballers here, cause there are. But I ain't one of them.

I also have no debt and I own all my shit from the 1-3 hours of work a day I do.

So yea, I'm str8. Plus I have things going on that should pay off really well for me in a couple years.

BALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLIN in my 10 year old car yo

bought a new Escalade for 82k. After I drove it off the lot it was worth $50-$55k. 3 years ago I bought a BMW 7 series 86K. Today is worth 30k. There is your answer... My next car is going to be 1 year used. New cars are a waste of money.

slightly used is the way to go imo. Its much cheaper and the odds of something going wrong with a car that only has 10k -15k miles on it are very very slim, and if they do the car should have some sort of warranty on it that will cover the issue.

It depends on the car.

Bought a new EVO X in 2009 because I know these cars get beat on. Was Just about to order a new C63 AMG until I saw the resell value of one with only a couple thousand miles. Now I'm waiting for a 2012 with a couple thousands miles for about 10k off MSRP.

Slightly used, 2 years max is a good rule of thumb. I also prefer to buy from private sellers.
I'm waiting for this baby to age.

I buy them used always from private sellers ;)

I bought my '07 is350 for $30k after taxes. it had around 20k miles.

paid in cash for it 100% at time of purchase.

2 years later its still kelly blue books at like 20-25k atm.

I have 3 luxury sports cars, all purchased brand new, and while I typically agree that from a financial standpoint it's wiser to buy used, you buy a super car as a status symbol or award for yourself anyways, so used doesn't have the same effect.

Cars are my weakness, I love them. I own a few. I stopped buying new cars about 5 years ago. The depreciation is just horrid and it's fucking disgusting on a luxury car or anything that isn't a Toyota. Now all my cars are 2-3 years old. I always buy low mileage Certified cars. You can get the killer interest rates if you choose to finance (less than 2% anyone?) and if you want to buy outright cash you don't lose $30k driving it off the lot. New cars are for the impatient (that new model is out, gotta have it!) and the ignorant (The payment is only $650/mo I'll write that off on my business). With that said an Aston is gonna eat you in maintenance. $1000 oil changes/maintenance every year then $6-10k clutch job every 8-10k miles. If you're trying to get pussy there are cheaper ways.

still love how many people ITT don't know how taxes work. keep writing off company cars for your little SEO LLCs and see how well that works in about 2-3 years lol

Banner Adv

Hi there,

I was wondering if I could get some info for banner advertising (Ideally a site wide, un-rotated banner ad) on your site?

We would like to do a test buy as soon as possible.

Thanks very much,
Wayne Vassell
