We're all supporting ourselves in our own little ways and even though his product doesn't completely address the problem of LP hijacks (nothing ever will), it's looks easily implementable and I'm willing to bet it would deter the majority of people who are in the business of not being creative.
There's no market if people don't try to peddle. Nicky's product isn't inferior or lacking because a knowledgeable person can circumvent it, or a programmer can do the same thing for you for 200$. It's his first attempt and if it prevents the majority of page hijackers I'd say it was a success, no?

Perception is always greater than reality, if Nicky can successfully convince people that his product will (even though it might not) protect their LP, he's the one who's winning.
