LoL Hydra LoL

Okay so once I'm running $10K/month, what are the advantages of sending traffic to Hydra? B/c by that time I'm going to have developed a relationship or two at other networks, and will not only want to work with the people who helped me out when I was up-and-coming, but will probably find it easier, more convenient, and safer to work with the AMs and networks that helped me reach 10k in the first place.

I don't want to ask stupid questions here and I can understand Hydra's policies from the company's perspective--but from my own perspective, what kind of incentive will I ever have to run traffic to Hydra? What are you guys going to offer that nobody else will? B/c all things considered, I don't see why I'd run any traffic to you later on, esp. if I had to go through the trouble of proving my income to you. I mean I'd probably just say screwit.

Not that you care right now--I'm way small-time. But I'm sure a lot of "new blood" will have the same attitude when they start to makkeh teh monneh.

Good question. And if we were offering you the exact same campaigns you could get everywhere else, the reasons wouldn't be overwhelmingly compelling But the whole point of doing what we're doing is to be able to bring you a different breed of campaigns - campaigns you can't get at other networks - namely high converting, high budget, high consumer value offers from well-known consumer brands. But to get more of them, we have to be able to offer pristine quality traffic.

Unfortunately we can't just flip a switch and make it happen. It is a process to get there but we are well on our way. Plus we are working on other ways to drive greater value and higher revenues for our publishers.

In short, we are doing something different TO differentiate Hydra from other networks.

Mason, wanted to thank you for talking to your AM's.. as you recall, my last request was for them not to send so much "New Offer!" spam every day, but instead to give us EPCs and feedback on WHICH of the new offers were hot. You had said you'd talk to them...

...my Hydra spam has literally tripled as of late. I think I get like 3 emails a day from my AM. And yet to see any statistical info that would make me say "I need to run this baby!"

Who is your AM?

I see one from my AM and then 1 or 2 from directly what looks to be from Hydra itself... not an AM email.

in b4 mason's damage control lol

also - in b4 u get a takedown notice to remove the "Confidential" documents. lol

I don't understand what's so shocking about the projected revenues.

Do you think they will fall massively short in lieu of all the changes they've made, or?

holy fuck you are all complaining bitches.

-You're bitching because you got deactivated because you ran nothing , or split
-You're bitching because their network is the same as any other so why would anyone work with them after being established

Why not just run the offers on other networks and not bitch?

This thread is pointless, and nicky isn't funny anymore.

We have been doing around $10/monthly with hydra and our account was also suspended. The problem is that, as a mailer, now any campaigns we sent out don't click through...they should have alerted affiliates that this was coming, so we could have been prepared and not mail any of their offers up until the minutes we were suspended. Still haven't heard from them why we were suspended however.
