Legitimate Affiliate Gets Accused of Fraud ......

I've responded to the affiliate multiple times over email and AIM - which I have full record of. I do not simply ban affiliates without any rhyme or reason. I provide full proof of the data that we have from our compliance team and in some cases, the advertisers.

Affiliates are king, and I go to my furthest efforts to protect them in every case. When fraud is brought onto my network, it damages the entire affiliate experience. It is not plausible for "competition" to sabotage his accounts with us, and trust me - I've heard this response too many times. I need to insure the highest quality traffic for my advertisers so we get the highest payouts which in turn benefit the affiliates.

I do apologize about my lack of an earlier response on here, but at the time it was being handled behind the scenes over email correspondence with the affiliate. I need to stand my ground on this one. When a topic is brought up on wickedfire I do feel that EWA needs to make a public statement in regards to it, especially considering the fact that he brought it public (even after all the correspondence via email).

----

@dollars - I only work with the data that I have in front of me, and I would never ban an affiliate small or big without substantial proof. I appreciate every single cent of business sent into my network and I did not get where I'm at by wrongfully banning affiliates. Not only did my investigation prove that they were fraud, the advertisers deemed the leads fraud (complete charge-back, stolen credit card or non-rebilled customers) and did not pay me on his traffic.

Hello friends,

I no know about others but when read title say legitimate affiliate it make me think he more scum and no legitimate.

Good luck bros

Once again, don't call me a frauder. I'm not blackmailing anyone nor do I intend to blackmail. I have not done any fraud and
there is no reason for me to blackmail anyone. The reason why I'm bumping this thread is simply because I'm not hearing anything back from
EWA since 25th Nov.

Yes Ryan did replied to me over email correspondence, but here's the problem. There's a reason why I'm worried about how "draggy" this thing can be.

On 6th Nov Ryan say he will work on my stuff and let me know in the weekend. On 9th, he took the initiative to inform me that they are still auditing the leads and needs more time. After hearing nothing from them, I emailed Ryan on 14th Nov to ask him how is the investigation coming along. He replied me on 16th Nov and told me that he will get me the full lead report on Monday. Monday passed by and i have not heard from him. I got worried and emailed him on 19th Nov to ask about the lead report. Finally he replied on 24th Nov with the lead report. I sent my reply with my report to him(via email) on 25th. I spoke to him on AIM that day but he told me to discuss over email. From 25th till the thread was bumped, I have not heard from him. I have full record of these.

Back to the case ...

Regarding the 2 ip address 208.27.111.132 and 205.254.147.8. I'm not sure if they are proxy sites as in my research, I found that these
2 ips are from government agencies. You can check the reverse ip at Free IP Lookup (DNS Lookup), Reverse IP Lookup (Reverse DNS Lookup), Proxy Lookup, IP Whois, Blocklist Lookup . Also, these 2 ips can be traced from my prosper202.

I went to ponder about the ip address that cannot be traced and I found that the class D ip could have changed between my P202 and the advertiser site.
For example, for ip 205.174.22.25 that cannot be traced from P202, ip 205.174.22.26 instead shows conversion on my side.

Also, Ryan you told me via private message that one of my campaign had over 50% leads that came from proxy. But from the full lead report that you gave me, I calculated that 14/188 of the leads were from proxies. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I have uploaded the lead report (excluding the sensitive details about EWA offers id and payout. I have also included some details in comparison with my P202 data).

From the report that Ryan gave me, I see that most of the proxy leads are from Adsonar. I have already requested a report from my Adsonar rep to prove my spending and analytics in comparison with
my data in P202.

Ryan, here's what I can offer to you(please let me know if I can help in any other way):

1) See my Adsonar report
2) Login to my P202 account and see my aanlytics
3) See the bills of all debit/credit card under my name between the date I joined EWA till 30th October.

So in any case if somebody tried to get OP out of business by sending proxy traffic and fake leads to his lp, there is nothing you can do ?? The OP has to pay the price for his innocence? What can an an affiliate do in a situation like this? Lose all
the money?

Building a reputation with the network is key to survival, of course. Once a network gets to know you, and the type of traffic you deliver, if an anomaly of sorts like a sudden burst of fraud hits, the network is much more likely to consider sabotage, hijack, etc. and realize this is not in your affiliate genetic makeup to do.

What many of you guys don't understand, and why we've seen this same scenario unfold SO many times before on here (the OP says one thing, we discover from the network that they're lying through their teeth), is that fraudulent traffic probably requires MORE work on the pub's part than legitimate traffic.

This is what these guys don't and never will understand. It takes more sweat and headache to send fraud traffic. So why do they do it? Ignorance to the fact theyre working harder, or a mental block whereby they don't realize how much orchestration it requires? In any case, because of all this extra work they do, it builds up resistance and defiance inside when theyre caught, and they post "I GOT FUCKED" on here because deep down, they're thinking of all that work they did and feel theyre justified in getting paid.

I'm not claiming this is the case with the OP as I don't know him, and he did sound pretty sincere willing to show his logs, etc. I have no idea if the OP has a good history with Ryan or is just a noob, but when this type of things happen and it's a noob pub, you have to axe him right away. Not worth the headache.

I'm not sure if I buy this guy's story, but I'm worried Eagle didn't even give him a chance to talk his side. Eagle, did you or did you not review his Prosper202 account? Did he offer you access to his AdSonar account? Are you simply relying on the reports you got from compliance?

Perhaps this affiliate should have the bad leads reversed, but not be banned: depending on the content/traffic sources/lead-chain for the bad leads.

A ton of drama can be avoided with quick follow up and open communication.

Stick to the big networks.... risk/reward, ya I know.... but the reward isn't that great IMHO with some of the start ups.

BTW everyone does know that in almost all Network T&C's they can shut the door and not pay you without reason right?

Considering the shit Eagle's gotten himself into lately and his attitude on handling it, makes me think the OP was one of the earliest victims of the notorious RYAN EAGLE!

Reading that post I got two impressions.

1 - Smaxor was very professional and ignored Eagles attempt to start a pissing contest. Wish I would of read that before I replied in my own attack thread lol.

2 - Ryan was still a dick 4 years ago.

Final Summary - Looking at where both stand today I would have to Say Ryan maybe you should of spent more time learning from him then being a smart ass. At least when you close down you can sing how you did it you're way.
