I think you might have rushed to a decision on this guy. He isn't trying to gather a mob, he is just trying to get some attention from EWA because they are not responding to him. He posted once, and then waiting a month to post again when they failed to respond again.

If I knew he wasn't responding to me for a month, and I knew he was active here, I would do the same thing. Well, unless I was raping the company and got caught.

I have 2 or 3 networks that I work with and if you have a good account manager you will get an answer. Its called building a relationship which a lot of people on here don't know much about. If you are faithful to your network they will do wonders for you. AMs will jump ship for 2% pay bump and in the long run it hurts them or they get fucked.

As for getting mad at a guy for posting on a message forum...WTF it only helps other affiliates.

Wickedfire is a community of affiliate marketers not networks. Seems like we are ready to blast a guy for coming to the community with help with stuff.

All this talk about lawyers blah blah...if he can solve without lawyers its a lot easier and cheaper.

AKMG is a shit network, I've said it a million times, but I keep my bitching/rambling between a very confined range: fact-based and objective. I've never personally attacked anyone there, nor have I done anything aside from post my story and let folks know what my problem with the situation was. Never EVER expect a mob on a forum to help you resolve an issue, never.

No one honestly gives a shit if EWA tells you they think your traffic is fraud. That's between you and them. Send him the login to your P202 account and let him do his thing. Posting it on WF like you're a beaten red-headed stepchild is just fucking pathetic.

My guess is this will resolve like 99.999% of other network bitches resolve:

  • OP bitches when caught/called on it
  • WFers mob mentality comes in and bitches about network
  • Network AM/owner comes in and says 'contact us, this is the first we've heard of it'
  • OP uses his head and works with network
  • Network owner comes in and says "ok, OP admits it's his fault, his little blackmail post didn't work, and situation resolved'
EWA is a fucking great network, pure and simple. That's not because Ryan and I are best buds. We're not. I do however respect the shit out of him and know what he goes through to ensure a smooth up-and-up running operation.


[EDIT: I don't think you're wrong for wanting resolution, I think you're wrong for trying to get the WF mob to help you. Man up and fix your situation yourself...]

Gonna agree with this one. I feel that this is the best place to come with complaints about a network you feel has wronged you after you have exhausted other means of rectifying the situation. Yes, we know you swing from ryan eagles nuts, but don't let that get in the way of honest affiliates who are trying not to get fucked over by networks.

WF isn't the world police for the IM world.
 
I'd throw a 'Haters gonna hate' in here, but Cakes flashes back to junior high each time that happens.
 
I think Jon will back this up. But the origina reason WF was created was to give affiliates a voice and a place to band together against larger companies like networks and advertisers. Before WF was around there was really no place you could get justice. Because Jon created this platform I think it's definitely helped clean up the abuses, because companies do know if they don't treat aff's right there could be a backlash. So if you ask me this is speaks exactly to the reason why it was created.

I'm not saying or suggesting every affiliate with an issue with someone should come here and cry wolf. But if you've exhausted all other avenues. I think this is a valid place to voice your concerns and get the attentions of people included. That includes my network Ads4Dough, any other affiliate network or advertiser.

Please just make sure you exhaust the standard channels of clearing up issues before you bring your beef public.
 
I didn't see that he was trying to contact them for a month now, I thought it was just a few days and he decided to post it. I guess you do have a point since this is probably the easiest way to get a networks attention since they know other clients or future clients are on here.
