That's not what I meant, Iran is different in a way that the US is not interested in conquering the country, only wants to disarm it. They've tried it before, and by the looks of it, this is the most viable solution.

Actually there are tons of good motives for the US to attack Iran... General Wesley Clark said soon after 9/11 that we would be attacking "Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and the big prize they're still after, Iran."
