Put an advert on a classified site for his location, pay a guy to take pics of his house. Tell him your renting it and need an outside pic for when the lease ends. Send the scammer the photo and say you got a henchman set up in a hotel 5 mins away. "Give me my money" or one phone call and he's in pain forever.

Because that will take $2500 to start the dispute, another $2000-2500 for legal fees (I got estimates), and then the lost revenue in waiting the 2-4 months to get the domain name back would definitely set me even more money.

I can drop the charges if he gives me back the money. I can contact his work colleagues again and say that it was a different ngo hieu minh and it was a misunderstanding.

I did actually get the domain name back. I got it back by paying off the person who stole it. That's why this whole thing isn't sitting well with me and its hard to just move on. If the UDRP didn't take 2-4 months, I'd definitely go down that route but the lost revenue and damage to brand credibility would've been hard to recover from considering the busiest month (and last month of the school year) would basically be when I'd be getting the site back.

Well put. Maybe I'm greedy but I like to just relax and move on because that's what makes me more money and allows me to forget shit quicker.
I'd imagine that's pretty easy to say if you've never been shaken down, and I'd also imagine that everybody has a price where they'd say "fuck it, it may not be profitable, but I need to get a little payback before I can move on".
For all we know, this situation may have thrown a serious wrench into CLKeenan putting food on his family's table. Most likely nobody but CLKeenan and the cunt rag criminal will ever know the opportunity costs of their actions and whether they made the right choices but I personally hope CL nails the fucker to the wall if for no other reason so that the perp doesn't view his actions as profitable and I end up targeted in the future.
