I lasted a month. ;(

Rear wheel drive + rain pools = really fucking bad.

I was shocked when I got my rear wheel drive vehicle and realized I could only drive it like a grandmother when it rained. Now that I have a shitty beater, I can drive it like crazy in the rain since it has front wheel drive + low weight.

Glad to hear you are ok.

Rear-wheel drive cars are horrible in the rain. Be careful out there.

BTW - what kinda Audi is it? it looks nice.

Except the Audi R8 is an all wheel drive car, with Audi quattro traction control, and more rubber on the road than 2 normal cars.

Looks like that could have been a lot worse. Glad to hear you're ok.

I trust the fact that you're posting about your 4am accident, you didnt get any kind of ticket like an OWI? Did they make you blow?

I received zero tickets. The officers that showed up were lazy as fuck. They stayed inside their car the whole time since it was raining outside. He didn't even ask for my I.D and never ran the plates of the car. Granted to do so he would have to walk all the way around and get it from the back, I guess he was too lazy. Those fellows were so lazy that they did not want to file anything, not even the fact I destroyed a lamp post and a guard rail w/ a fence.

Fortunately I was stone sober.

Fuck man. That's shit! Glad you're able to type and alive to tell the tale, I genuinely think I'm miss you making YT vids, but that's a gutter about the car. Royally mugged chap! :(

That said - how on this blue planet did you not manage to control that at 55mph? What kind of 90's platform-computer-game style road were you driving on FFS? Did you somehow fail to avoid a patch of "SPRING UP IN THE AIR" surface ?

Yep, at 55 mph. Have all my cars programmed to red line at 55 mph and not go any faster. 55 mph is the shit. 55 mph is also the speed limit so it works out. 55 mph fellows.

All wheel drive. On my BMW which is also an all wheel drive I have hit nasty water patches in it, I would just fish tail for a few yards and slip into an exit to make it look natural.

Shame about the Audi TT.

Audi R8.

I swear I thought the same thing.

Did you ever take your car out to a racetrack, mGrunin?

Last week I took it to the shop to have different parts changed to have it equipped and ready for such an idea. I can safely say that was $5,500 down the drain.

Hmmm... looks like Audi didn't hold support. Prob too much PBR & bullishnish on NSU.DE like you were on TSLA.

Seems like another bad play. :evil_laughter:

No one bats a thousand. In the trading thread in my last two videos there have been a total of 8-10 trades mentioned, and nearly all but one or two didn't work out.

But I do applaud you for bringing such things into light in such a thread. Enjoy the rest of your night.

Crazy story. Two nights ago I had a dream and told my girlfriend about it. I was driving in the R8 and all of a sudden I notice that my hands have some wet texture and I cannot rotate the steering wheel properly. The car begins to slide to the right of the highway and and is now on grassy area. Well it continues to slide to the right before it hops back on the opposite highway, this time I am facing opposing cars. During this time I am trying to avoid a head on collision but soon enough I end up scraping someone and cause damage to the car.

Looking back at all of this, this dream was dead on. I did not fabricate a single detail of the story or exagerate anything. I can even literally show my google search history for "car crashing dream". When I first told my girlfriend about it the day I had it, I told her how it made no sense since to the right of the highway there would never be opposing traffic or any lanes really. In Britain it would make sense, not here. Well..who would have known that a service road somewhat fits the bill, just that it is not opposing.

Anyhow fellows, maybe this was all just a ridiculously large coincidence, but maybe I am on to something. Sometimes if life tells you to slow down, show some respect.

I don't think you can tell the future with dreams.

It's a good thing you didn't die though - you crash often. I see these threads every few months from you. NY roads seem very dangerous and full of potholes to drive on.

As a fellow R8 V8 owner, I have to say you were speeding. There's no such thing as a "55mph redline" as you claim. The only thing that there is, is a warning that will pop off if you instruct the bord computer to do so.

And seriously, as asked before, how did you manage to spin out the all wheel drive car ffs? I drive in northern europe, shitloads of ice, snow and rain - all year long. Maybe you should take a driver safety course before handling these machines.

It's cool that nobody wants to admit that they're speeding, but as usual, people will only tell the good side of the story.

On a side note, glad you're ok. Hope my baby stays unharmed for a long while.
