How many domains do you own?

i totally agree with this, and i've changed my strategy. I've sold domains for $300 to $1800.

even if you pay $10/year and it's 10 years before you sell the domain or develop it, you'll still turn a profit.

if you have no idea what to do with the domain, put it up on some cheap hosting, and run an autoblogging script on it and let it just sit there. most hosting accounts how have no limit how many domains you can host. if you worry about space, combine similar domains into groups and park them all on top of one that has content and adsense

that's why i'm going for 1000+ domains this year, if i reach it, next stop is 10K. Who knows, maybe in a few years i can sell it all for a few million or 20.

Any advantage with them?

They have price tiers. I currently get .coms, .nets, and .orgs there for under $8.

But really what I like most about resell.biz is that they LEAVE YOU ALONE. They are the polar opposite of godaddy; It's all automated there. They do everything right up front, and don't want you bothering their technical support staff for any possible reason.

Thanks for the tip on reseller.biz, currently got 300+ domains over at godaddy and spent a week building a php/CURL api to login and change nameservers/a records/whois info. I'm gonna give reseller a go as the API will save me a tonne of time (hopefully).

I own 80, down from 180 a year ago. About 30 are live sites and the rest I'm unsure about. Some of the remaining 50 are crap that I am no longer interested in. Others I don't have time to deal with.

The older I get, the less time's in a day.

Honestly, it's like a disease. I buy domains to develop them, not resell them, yet I still own over 100.

Too many ideas, too little time...
