How many domains do you own?

I only have 3 domains. All of them are live sites. I wonder why some are buying a huge number of domains...

I have little over 100 domains. Around 40 are keyword .info domains. Others are .com and .net domains. Don't have any .orgs. Most of these domains are at Godaddy.

I've just got one but I've been surprised at how many do you guys have, some of you reaching 9000? :S

Starting to be interested in all this subject but if a domain is around $10/year, I see people are spending from $10,000 to $90,000 in domains alone? Am I missing something about the price and can they be obtained cheaper?
