I just recently got back under 1000 for the first time in a while. Hoping to cull it down into the 200 or so range eventually.

I have around 112

Pretty even mixture of .Com and .Net with a few .Org .Info and .Co thrown in. Oh and 3 .Me hehe.

I have sites on around 10 of them. I won't be buying more until I get at least another 30 or so filled out unless I need a really good exact match domain for a project.

100+ of which 40 are all in the same niche. Just a few of them are live at the moment. Got to work more and reg less. :-)

:c

I have like domain OCD, i cant let them expire once I register them. I'm sure others are the same way.

same. i've sold a few that have been siting there for years and not doing anything. it's still worth it. 5 years * $10/year = $50 cost, selling for $1000, nets $950. that's just one example.

Junk Domains

It's been my experience that it's the quality of the domain and how much effort you put in to it that matters. If it's not associated with actionable keywords or saleable content you're just spinning your wheels. Low cost domains can have some value in testing and tacking new traffic sources.:xmas-smiley-010:

I have over 200+ all live. I can't stand buying a domain and not making it instantly. Anyhow, Tradewinds your from MN? Nice to see another IM'er in MN. :)
