The thing is at this stage would Hydra refunding the guy his 25K and admitting they were arseholes be good enough for people to forget it?

Or has the damage been done now no matter what they do?

Quote from wikipedia:

Non-Payment

On April 21st, 2009 Hydra Network was accused of Non-payment to an affiliate. Hydra took the side of the advertiser, who made claims of poor leads. Hydra failed to protect it's publisher (and many more it was determined) to keep a good relationship with it's advertiser. In addition, Hydra repeatedly ignored requests for a response on the WickedFire forums. As a result of Hydra's unprofessional behavior, a large portion of the affiliate marketing community has suggested not working with Hydra.[6]

Now which one of you did this?

Already ranks for "hydra network" (not very high but it does)
How about unlocking it so we can post a link or three to this thread?

I'll throw a bit of xrumer love this way tonight :)

I wasn't able to find it in Google with hydra network or "hydra network" but I only went back about 3-4 pages. I did see a Digital Solutions link in there though before I saw a Wicked Fire link. Honestly, Hydra has never done me wrong but I didn't promote the offer the OP was promoting but it could have been me too and I understand where the OP is coming from. Hydra is one of the top 10 networks right now, if not one of the top 5 but Wicked Fire is probably the best and most experienced forum for Affiliate Marketing so I am surprised that no one high up from Hydra has come in here to settle it or at least tell their side of the story. Hell, if Hydra is one of the top 5 networks on the web, WickedFire is at least top 3 if not the top forum for affiliate marketers, this thread has been going on for long enough that they should have noticed it.

Erm, ok. We know the drill when applying to networks so we don't exactly need a rundown of your conversation, maybe you could ask your new rep about the "Wickedfire thread" but they'll probably ignore it. They've kinda dug themselves a very big hole here, wickedfire has some of the most talented affiliates around and they think the best strategy is to ignore us? That's plain stoopid.

If Hydra network has two braincells to rub together they would answer this thread. Unfortunately by giving pathetic template answers they just look like moron fraudsters.

P.S maybe you should add "Hydra Network" to the thread tags. Also is it possible to turn of the affiliate link converter for certain threads? If so, you shouldnt be giving them link love.

I will be sure to ask them about the Wicked Fire thread when they call, I believe it will be hard for the AM to ignore then, or he too will try to give me a templated answer. We will see

Hydra probably has a team of high-priced lawyers advising them. The template answer was probably concocted by one of the suits, who warned against saying anything incriminating or admitting guilt in any way.

People sue for a helluva lot less than $25,000. Ever heard of small claims court, where people bicker over lawnmowers?

I suspect the only reason we're not on page 1 is because it hasn't been spidered yet. The page actually isn't in Google at all yet.

So, I took the liberty of posting a link to the thread on a frequently spidered site. Should be anytime now ...
