How Hydra Affiliate Network Screwed Me Out Of $25,000

The response that Hydra Network gave to an obviously serious issue that it had with one of it's affiliates was to not respond to the issue. You'd think a large network like Hydra Network would be more diligent. Way to go Hydra Network

this thread is never going to rank for their name unless its moved to the Shooting the Shit area. The Affiliate Marketing area needs a password to view - and Google won't show it in the ranks because of that.

I once had a network tell me that the advertiser wasn't paying for the leads....guess what happens, the networked billed and collected for the leads I generated anyway and they kept my money.

Alright.. I was just asked by Hydra to step in and take a deeper look into this situation. I'm not going to side with anyone, just going to investigate this shitstorm and post my findings. The only reason I'm getting involved is because I agree with Hydra that theres more to the story than what was originally posted, however, I'm not going to defend them or the affiliate. In order for me to make any judgement on this, Hydra agreed to share all of their email and IM correspondences with both the affiliate and advertiser. I've contacted the affiliate to send me over his saved correspondences too so that I can look over both parts and come to a decision. I'm only interested in one thing here, finding out the truth of the situation and posting it.

Neither side is obligated to do anything about it, because its their fight, not mine or WickedFire's. But after I do sort this mess out, I'm going to close the thread.

I've said this so many times before, but here it is again.. only post your complaints about a network as the LAST ALTERNATIVE OPTION. Because when you bring it to the forum, it has the ability to turn into a shit storm, and sometimes can result in a legal mess for you, so as pissed as you are, try and work it out and compromise first, if you can't, don't threaten them that you'll post it here, instead just let them know that you're considering it as a last resort -- which usually does the job.

word. good looking out.

alright so probably was quick to jump the gun on hydra, am now very interested to hear what went down one way or another -- regardless of who was in the right/wrong.

in all fairness, it is worth noting is this post started by BTP32:

http://www.wickedfire.com/affiliate-marketing/49314-incentive-cpa.html#post442436

makes you wonder about incent traffic...

also, running through all his old posts: http://www.wickedfire.com/search.php?searchid=1453307

you can kind of see the whole thing developing... asks bout incent, then about quality health offers, and then pre-populating a field, and then not getting paid, and then this thread...

things perhaps werent as clear cut as first laid out.

I think people were more critical of their lack of any significant response than of the situation itself.
At least that's my problem with it. Regardless of anything else/the outcome - even if they're right, it's a horrible way to handle problems and I don't see any way for them to salvage respect here. Not from me anyways.

If the OP is a scam/fruadster... i doubt it would that hard for hydra to come here and post 1 simple post with proof outlining it. thats how i feel. tho... OP did not post any evidence either.
