HELP!! Hydra Leads Invalidated!!

Zules you are right that generating leads/sales doesn't automatically, it depends on a couple of things. And that isn't whether the person broke TOS or not...

I don't post often but you are honestly the dumbest son of a bitch I have ever seen on these forums. LISTEN: They bid on those keywords daily. They don't expect that their "Affiliates" will become competition. Here you come, bidding on their keywords which they clearly told you not to do. So what happens? All of those sales you made would have taken place already without you. The only difference here is that they now have to give you a cut because you walked up and put your name tag on as they walked to the register. That is their market and they clearly have already cornered it. All you did was stand at the door and say hi as "THEIR" customers walked in. They would have walked in even if you were never born which in this case would have been a great thing for everyone here! You owe us all 2 hours AssHat!
:angryfire:

Aff networks don't have much sympathy for anyone who used trademarked keywords. If they wanted to screw over advertisers, they would have had someone do exactly what you did and keep all the money. If you were a big aff in great standing I could see them at least paying you something, but no affiliate networks wants new affiliates running BS traffic and pissing off their advertisers (you have to realize this is what it looks to them). I know it sucks after the fact but that's pretty much what happens when you take short cuts. If you can honestly tell yourself that most of the traffic was hard earned on your part thats one thing, but I would bet most of your traffic came from the trademarked keywords. Try and maybe get the $1500 back since they didnt post the restrictions?

WWWWwwwHHAAAAAAA!!!

I'm so sick of see'ing these "I broke all the rules and didn't get paid" threads. Follow the 1-3 fucking rules these companies actually have fer christs sake. Its not fucking Rocket Surgery here and they are pretty lenient about what you can actually do. It just says "Dont do this, this and this."

The contract you entered into with Hydra says if you break their rules they don't have to pay you. You supposedly read, and agreed to those terms when you signed up. But it's obvious you don't read anything. Wait right there, I have a few free trials you should take a look at.

That lesson only cost you $1500 ... cheap IMO. Get over it or get the fuck out of this business.

I have had Azoogle pay me for leads that the advertiser was not paying them for, it all depends on the situation and your relationship with the company you are working with...

Since this guy ran a non-search campaign on search, I am not sure exactly what he was expecting except live and learn.

And by the way my situation was nothing like that... It was much much much much greyer, and came down to a difference of opinion for the most part.

Good to see you're back.

Hydra sent payment to my bank and then reversed the payment the next day.

I am following all the rules and I haven't even got an email stating I was doing anything wrong. Nor has my affiliate manager said anything about bad traffic or breaking rules etc..

It might just be an error, idk yet...

I might start a new thread about this if it doesn't work out.. I will let people know what happens Monday when Hydra opens.

minute but an essential detail has been said by others ,
your commissions due to TM biddings were not meant to be existing in the first place.
i understand you're desperately trying to leverage wf to solve your problem but it will not resolve.

YOU HAVE PLACED A SHOPPING CART ON THE PAVEMENT RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR STORE AND FORWARDED APPROACHING CUSTOMERS WHO WERE ALREADY HEADED TO THE STORE ANYWAY.

No store owner wants anyone to compete with him in his own district and yeah serp's through TM keywords are their own property.

Every Hydra campaign has a list of traffic types allowed and disallowed. Shamwow is the perfect example -- and here's the break-down:

Shamwow - As Seen on TV

Pays on 1st page purchase.

Channels of Promotion Allowed:
Email
Banner
Contextual

Channels of Promotion Not Allowed:
Incentives
Search
Pops

US Only!

Jeremy I talked to a few people, Hydra made some mistakes on payouts early this month and a lot of peoples funds were reserved while they fixed it all, you have nothing to worry about.

Yeah that's is what I was told. They re-sent the payment.

Makes you wonder who they have sending out payments. It's not good when you think you have a couple thousand in the bank but then it gets taken out the next day.

Hydra didn't even say they were sorry..

I won't be working with them for a while..
