Do you really think that the big Networks sign a contract that gives the advertiser legal control over things like this? Of course not. Hydra has the legal upperhand exactly as I thought, my contact told me. He says Hydra is tough with things like this and will commonly not pay even if they get the money. He said the best thing to do in this situation is to get the story able to be published on a big AM blog, and Hydra will give in.
This is insanity. You don't follow the conditions, but demand payment anyway.
Meanwhile, you are burning bridges with every company on this forum (most of them) by broadcasting you are a pain in the ass and putting your future revenues at risk.
To boot, you post your contact info.
Wow.
you guys realize i had this campaign up for 2.5 days right, then noticed and turned it off? BEFORE hydra said anything to me?
I just don't undestand how you all think its normal for a company to not payout a percentage on sales given to them no matter the manner they were presented (as long as they were legal). I highly doubt the TOS gives the advertiser any sort of authority to rule what is acceptable or not in terms of payment. It most likely gives them the right to pull the plug because of this, but not simply give no payment.
Hydras statement when this first arised was "they will pay if they ever want to do business with hydra again"
it has now changed to
"my boss is on my chain about this situation and we are not only working to get your money but working hard to keep them as an advertiser"
if you guys think I am just cock-n-bulling crying about money, you are wrong. Hydra is playing hardball and they are literally screwing me and others (i was told others were involved and I know one personally) just to keep the advertiser happy. HOW is that not something that should be known?
You would never not get paid because of anything you did that is not strictly against Hydras rules. The only reason you would not get paid is ebcause Hydra doesnt care enough to get your money, because they can definitely get it if they want it.
I disagree. I have learned a few things from the OP's mistake. The OP should shrug and move on. There's lots of money to be made.We should make lack of common business sense bannable.
edit: And by "we", I mean the people here with actual power.
gkg and everyone else who keeps telling me "you don't get paid".
