Have any of you sold any of your sites? I'm thinking of selling my first site(forum).
 


I sold a gaming forum a few years ago, for much less than it was worth, $100.
 
i'll go thru the ones i sold:
dsaccess.com - first site (that was decent) - sold it for bout $250
vgaccess.com - sold for about $300 i believe - but in the end, with the amount i spent, i barely broke even
freepspvideos.com - $400 - 50% went to my partner
and i've sold countless little content sites for bout $30 each.
 
I seems to be unable to hang onto sites for more than 3 weeks, so I always end up selling them - I sold my first site about 3 months ago, and it went from there:

- PinkProxy.net; 10 days old; $150
- Joking.ws; 13 days old; $250
- ProfileBox.net; 15 days old; $275

Are you that guy that made the video code turnkey site script?
 
I did sell a few, but I don't feel well when parting with my work (I make all my sites - maybe that's why my income is so low :?)
 
i have to restrain myself from sellin my sites, i usually like the quick buck, happy i haven't sold my main ones, cos they're going better than ever :)

Quick bucks.. always nice but keep the ones you want for long term for residual income every month.

People flip websites all the time, flipping blogs were main thing last year.
 
Haven't sold any yet. I've considered it, but for the price I would get it just wouldn't make sense.
 
I haven't sold any yet, put one up for sale that didn't sell and it's making decent money now, so I'm glad it didn't go.
 
I sold the first big site I created. I was broke at the time and I made $XX,XXX so that was cool. But I regret it every day. When I think of the money it would be making now, it kills me. I had two years into that site and by now it would be more than paying for my over-priced rent. But now I am starting from scratch. Live and learn, baby!
 
i sold a male sex enhancer pill site ( starts with a V).. bought it for 3k,, somehow got a google adwords campaign started on it ( dont know how they didnt decline the ad) did 27k in sales week 1, 20k plus the second week, then started reading about the legalities of it and saw people getting locked up so i gave myself a C&D and sold it back to the company i bought it from for 23k ( providing i gave them proof of my paypal records, which they were going to use to push more sites).

Site is still around today,, cheapestviagrapills (dot) com,,, and you wouldnt believe all the hell I went through to get all of my cash from fucking paypal. They wanted all kinds of info from me, pharmacy licenses etc etc.. then by their TOS they could only freeze the account for 6 months, so they released it to me finally.

Hate fukn paypal, but who else is there? lmao

No shit. I used Escrow.com for my bigger domain sales, but only cause I didn't trust the buyers nor paypal. Where are you from in NC?
