Yeah, I tried changing my cpc on some ads to like .40 for ~ 6 hours and still only received 3 impressions on one of the ads. My ctr is decent, so I'm guessing something is up with the system. Also, they took out the "notification" icons, now ad status is displayed in text.
 


I'm pissed, I wanted to hit $500 today so my limit could get raised, but I only hit $494.84, those bastards!

BTW, could anyone share how to cloak my links so FB doesn't seem my actually landing page?
 
someone tweeted earlier today that there is no more FB spend limits. Can anyone confirm this?
 
who knows! if im the CEO of fb, i'll be pissing in my pants cuz a bunch of advertisers are moving onto myspace where all those perverted "mens" are. So i'll be expecting some huge changes with FB within the next few weeks-months.

The CEO of FB is a raging moron. I'd expect more of the same from them.
 
below min bid shows no traffic

fb has changed the statuses of ads today. before when you were bidding below the recommended bid, you were able to still get traffic, but today it looks like when fb says the bid is too low...they are sending zero traffic.

anyone else seeing this?
 
bah even ads that say "running" won't get traffic, I have an ad that's an .80ctr and around 1400 in clicks that just stopped the other day and all I was able to pick up for clicks yesterday on it was 15.

utter crap

and the demo I'm targeting is huge and I can get tons of traffic on ads that are .20 ctr.

I am getting the same traffic as before. My CPCs are right on the "too low" fringe. I don't see any changes beyond the way the info is displayed. Just my opinion though.
 
Has anyone who has gotten banned from Facebook Social Ads been able to get back on?

I originally used it in November 2007 when there were no firm rules in place. I had 1 account. I played nice. Then I got banned.

I tried opening a new account last week and it was 'disabled by an administrator' abotu 10 minutes after opening. New IP, new FB account, new CC, different billing address, same name though.

Anyone get around this?
 
For a company that plays itself to the press as innovative they sure know how to innovate themselves into losing advertisers. They should be concentrating on making some of the advertisers happy, in the long term we are paying the bills. VC money isn't going to last forever. I'm still making money but It's pretty limited when they don't raise your limit and disapprove ads at an amazing rate.

they need to understand that myspace is gonna rape them fast. since myspace doesnt have any sort of restrictions upon ads, well obviously u cant do nude and no celebrity. So whats fb gonna do? if they do the same they lose all their advertisers. So lets wish them good luck with their so called "huge" advertisers that they favor so much. Not like their gonna be making anything with those stupidass ads.
 
Is there such thing as a facebook slap?

I was creating new campaigns with a min bid of around $.30. I had an ad get disapproved that should not have so i contacted them. They said that since it was a dating ad it needed to have the site URL in the text. Too bad they are retards and that ad already did have it in the text. So they made a mistake...

Anyhow, now i log in to create more ads and new campaigns and such and now all my min bids are around $.90. Did they see i was an affiliate and slap me? WTF??? any way around this? How do i get back to min $.30 bids?

I've noticed min bids fluctuating with account CTR history. If you have a good CTR, your min bids will go down, and I assume vice versa.
 
Erk... Yeah I'm seeing huge jumps in min bids which would lose me a shit load of money if I actually priced there. Guess I'll see how that holds out for me.
