Yeah, I was promoting a lead gen ad on FB. Submitted 3 different copies and they all got rejected. Re-submitted them 2 hours later (no changes) and one of them got accepted.
Go figure.
 


yeah its a bitch when you're trying to split test ads and they reject some and approve others.. even though the only thing you're changing is the targeting.
 
I've had the same image approved about 100 times now (for split testing), and the last 10 times I've submitted it (more testing) it's been rejected. It really just depends on what random intern gets your ad on their screen for approval. I notice that for my particular ad, some douche that works on the weekends doesn't like it....so I just submit during the weekdays when the regulars are working.
 
does anyone know if theres API access to the ad manager? i'd like to throw together a php script to get stats for me...
 
Facebooks ad approval team sucks ass, i'm just going to make an automated ad "submitter" so i can brute force my way to ad approval.
 
how the hell does this work - i run 2 campaigns and 1 had a bid price of .50 cents while other has a min price of like .30 cents when they target same thing?
 
Yah my ctr was around .10, had multiple ads... so people going to LP but just not converting....gona try some other date offers, but I've actually found some other gold mines that are untapped...hurrah, so i might be ready to screw the date scene...

If I had 100 clicks and only one convert, I wouldn't give up on it if it has potential. Hows your CTR%? Did you make multiple ad copy? Is your tracking right?

If I had solid CTR try building ads around there, maybe your LP or the advertisers LP sucks.

Change in Ad Distribution?

Anybody seeing a change in their ad distribution over the past two days? We're seeing it spend way more at different times of the day, and it's kind of screwing things up by giving us play at lower EPC times. Anyone else getting this?

I just started with Facebook, so I just assumed this was normal. But yeah my impressions are freezing then coming in big waves. Haven't noticed a specific time of day pattern or anything just yet.
 
I just put up a dating ad that got approved, and then put up the exact same ad with one small targeting adjustment...and it got rejected.

Thanks. Yeah, so far it's doing pretty well...and by well I mean making up for all the money I lost on other crap. Haha.

make sure to check your log files to see when traffic is really hitting. The reporting screen for FB is definitely not real time, so you may think you are frozen when you really have a steady stream...
