Redirect referrer question
Quick question if anyones got a sec:
if i set up a FB ad using a subdomain (using approved affiliate site domain but not a landing page as such) that is a 301 redirect to the affiliate url...what will show as the referrer to the affiliate company/merchant, my subdomain or a FB page?
I see lots of ads doing this and not read anything in their terms so assuming its not considered against the "rules" ?

Just tried my card again and it seems they've changed the error message and the way it appears..
"There was an error charging your card. Please try a new card."
They made it more straight to the point and even more unhelpful instead of actually fixing the problem.

Yea their payment system is royally fucked. Zach yes cc's will somehow dissapear from the funding sources screen. And I still can't get my main cc's working, all they could tell me is "we're working on it".
So I just restarted a campaign that was really successful for me a couple weeks ago but fell off and stopped converting so well after just a few days. Haven't run it for weeks. Less than 5min after I restarted it, I refreshed the page to check for impressions and I get a message saying 'Your account is temporarily unavailable due to site maintenance, try again in a few hours.' Is my ad still going to run? This blows, if the ads conversions arent back up its going to cost me hundreds of $.
Yea Zach, that happened to me too, i found they just deleted my back up card so had to re add.
Another thing to watch out for: My CC provider has stopped payments in the past when their automatic anti-fraud system has kicked in because in it's wisdom it recognised "significant daily payments to various internet companies" as "suspicious activity" I then had to ok the payments with an operator and have the card reset. Pain in the arse and no traffic while you deal with this if its the only card...
Also, if you have to speak to the CC provider avoid saying you use your private CC for any business activities, they defo don't like it and I put one of my cards with a very handy balance at risk when i mentioned that the anti fraud payment stoppages were switching off traffic to my sites.
All the more reason to have multiple cards backing you up in all ad sources.

I have the same problem with all three of my CC's, but thats why I have three!
.I just love calling them up and having them go "What the fuck are you spending $1000 a day on facebook for?".
Check if the campaign they are in is paused. You won't be able to run/resume them if the campaign is paused.
well fuck me sideways and call me charlie. a useful reply! now hopefully i can raise hell at the bank for not notifying me they were blocking payments to facebook.
