yep, i emphasised in my reply that i wanted to pay them but this is the only card i have (visa debit).. geez im not an average middle class american i dont have multiple credit cards to sling debt from one card to the next, where the hell am i gonna get another card. I dont think i can even get a real credit card, my proof of income is shady, they dont just give CC's to everyone here in australia.

Oh they give them away like water here in the states...:anon.sml:

Grab a pre-paid one - I started using one from my local grocery store back when everyone was talking about being double charged. Just get one of the re-loadable ones and you should be good unless they've changed things.

guys, when i make an ad that gets approved, start seing 0.09CTR when should i lower my CPC? after 5k, 10k, 100k imp?
yesterday i lowered it from 22 to 9 cents on 1k imp, today reached 8ki mp and traffic stoped, now isn't receiving any traffic

You dropped it way too hard way too fast. 1k or 8k impressions on FB isn't shit. I personally wouldn't start dropping it until I had oh, 40k-50k impressions. Really depends how well the ad is doing could be more or less. However chances are I had a bunch of similar ads so I'll know about where the floor is for how low I can pay and still get a good amount of impressions. If I started an ad out at more than that amount I'll drop it to there or slightly below. If you stop getting impressions it means its time to jack it up a few cents.

EXPERIMENT!

If you drop your ad too far it will stop getting impressions. Take the time and slowly lower and raise it until you hit the sweet spot. Yes this is a pain in the ass - because it seems to take around 10-15 min for your bid change to take effect most of the time.

A little trick you can also use is one you have reached a decent amount of impressions - I'd say 40k+ - drop your bid to .01. Click on the ad and it'll tell you what you should be paying for impressions. This number can be high or low to what you need. So plug it in and see what happens, not enough impressions increase your bid. Good amount of impressions, decrease or whatnot to what you want.

I'd scrap the ad. I don't even bother keeping ads that are under a 0.20 CTR. You won't be able to lower your CPC much without a much higher CTR.

Amen. I do the cutoff at .15%(they still get impressions, just not many. And it adds up). Also keep in mind, the numbers go DOWN, so anything that starts with a .0 will become worthless quite soon. And the higher the CTR, the faster they fall. 4 days in, my initial .57% beauty is looking at .44% for example.

Is the use of the Spanish language forbidden by FaceBook? I have been trying to get an ad approved that says “Dia de la Madre” (Mother’s Day) in the title and mentions “madre” (mother) in the text. It has been declined twice for misspelling. Every word is grammatically correct, just not all English. I’ve targeted adult, Mexican-Americans. Anyone have any ideas???

Try it in a spanish speaking country. See if it's a mod issue or a country issue.

Thanks for the response. I have not tried it in Mexico because I want to run the ad here in the U.S. I just thought it would be more attention grabbing to my target audience if I mixed in a little Spanish. Apparently, FaceBook is not bi-lingual. I guess I’ll try it in ALL English and make it easy for them.

no...facebook hired gay guys and lesbian girls! cuz the gay guys flag all the boobies, and once in awhile the lesbian girls comes to work and approves the boobies ^^

Well my account is completely fucked now.. first my credit card shut me down several times, suspecting fraud when i told the idiots several times the charges are legit. Now Facebook won't accept ANY credit card on my account, I've tried 4. Anyone had this happen? What do I do?

how does fb deal w/ geotargeted ads? would they say that your ad is wrong if let's say your lp is to get ppl to buy cheese to england but in the us if you click on the ad it shows a college scholarship ad? but you are only targeting in england?

Facebook and Sundays - Does it take longer on Sundays to get your ad approved or denied? Im going on 1hour now and still pending.

Weekends always take a long time to get an ad approved. One hour is a short time to wait.
