Facebook Social Ads

FYI got one in today that kept getting denied the other day (different variations of it). I'm starting to think it may depend who's actually looking at the ad, just different people on a different day and maybe they all don't interpret the rules the same or something. So if you're getting crap denied today is the day to try.

Definitely ;)

Jane Facebook is going to have a different idea on what should get approved vs. Joe Facebook.

(Infact I'm pretty sure it was Joe Facebook that let those boobie flyers get through. Ha!)

I just created two identical ads and one was approved and ran well and the second one said there were violations in sections 3,9....... I wonder how that works.

I don't know about you guys but I have yet to have any ads disapproved in the last 2 weeks, including zip/e-mail submits.

I'm curious to see you guys ads that get disapproved.

I just had an ad disapproved (first one in a while) like 5 minutes after I put it up. I think this is bit odd since the manual approval process seems to take about 2 hours...I wonder if they've got some of the filtering automated? by the way it was an ad for columbia house dvds and it got 12 and 13....wtf? spam and downloading software???? It's dvds that you order and get in the mail!

The ad I kept trying to get through yesterday came back with different violations all the time. Spam being one of them =)

I'm not sure what sections 3 and 9 are, but I'm wondering if they noticed that they were exactly the same, and only let you run one of them. I run a lot of similar ads, but nothing exactly alike, so I'm not sure if they view that as spam or not.

Lol?!?!

I've been getting ads disabled ALL THE TIME. Is like 90% get disabled. Its ALWAYS reaons 4,5,6.

I am finding that I get all sorts of reasons - some legit, some not. However, I think the biggest trigger for me so far has to do with punctuation or picutres that may be confusing. If I try to make the picture simple to understand and clear enough to read, AND avoid excessive capitalization. it seems there is a much faster chance of approval.

Anybody finding better times of the day for approval or not? My thoughts are if it is human review, you want to hit the "3rd shift", as late night folks tend to be more easy. Now "3rd Shift" looks a lot different if it is stateside or overseas.

Also, If I put in a big CPC (say .40), approval seems to occur much faster. So, probably best bet is set it high, get the clicks, and start going low based on NickyCakes CTR formula.

Didnt think I would do it, but I hit my $250 cap today with 2 hours to spare. Made a total of $730, so a little under 200% ROI

Hopefully one of you can help me out here.

I setup an ad around 4-5 EST this morning all with 0.10 CPC (which I'm thinking is a mistake) 5-6 hours later and I haven't seen 1 impression?

Do you think my ad may be in limbo due to the early morning posting time? Or is it more likely that my CPC is too low?

give it a few more hours....probably just waiting in que for manual review...if nothing happens in a few then bump up the cpc and see if that gets impressions flowing

They have Stanford interms (or maybe just a code name) and all of the editors are using macintosh.
