Hey you shit... you are not entitled to steal my words and use them as your title if you can say DISCOVER CARD...

my best performer to date. 5M impressions in about a 10 hour period. What I noticed was that if the ad was strong out of the gate (I had a .1 CTR very quicly), then facebook really accelearated the placement. I guess it finally crashed because the CTR dumped.

my thought is once I have an idea of something that may work, now I just need to keep running variants until I figure out which ad will stick.

anyone having ads that are running for days or weeks ?

now, here is what I dont get. my affiliate network believes I got something like 1029 clicks. Not sure what to think about that. Anyone have some thoughts?

so you're saying your Aff Network stats is reporting alot more clicks than your facebook stats? Are you running the offer fb alone? (sorry obvious question but it needs to be ruled out)

I think I may have noticed something weird like that but it wasn't that much of a difference so I didn't really note it. (like i think the difference was 15 clicks) but yeah I was wondering how that could be.

Facebook thinks today is 11/12 in my stats. Wtf?

If you look at the birthdays on your facebook account you'll see that it says its someones birthday one day early, but then it keeps it for the actual day. I love it.

I have had an ad running for the past few days with about 1500 clicks paid for and a .25 ctr. I have a $25 daily limit for the ad so that's the only thing holding me back atm. I am getting more clicks registered with my network, but that might just be the users refreshing the page or some shit, dunno. I can't get any clicks if i put my cpc bid at 5 cents or lower, but I'm getting plenty at 6 cents bid with my ctr.

Does facebook automatically charge you again when your balance runs low or do you have to deposit the money yourself.

I just started my first ad...

yes, I am running on FB alone. the reported volume is pretty big 218 clicks on FB and 1068 on the Affiliate network.

This time, when they terminated my ad, they gave me guidance as to why, and said it was violating terms 2,12, and 13. that was helpful. I understand part of it as I was redirecting as opposed to sending to my own landing page or iframing it, the other two violations I was not clear on.

2. Landing pages / Destination URLs -> this one I understand
12. spam
13. downloads

now, what I am concerned about is that something the network is doing (azoogle by the way) is triggering 12 and 13. Any thoughts.

they have been charging my cc every other day or so for the past few weeks, took them over a month for initial charge tho

Could be the offer is viewed as spammy. I have a little Mcafee bubble that pops up on spammy sites and I have to say, for most of the afflilate offers, that bubble pops up. I know elite mate is old news but for example, for that site it popped up and said something like " the average user gets about 36 spam emails when submitting their email address" Holy crap!

Anyway, my point is fb may test your affiliate offer to see if it's deemed as spammy. Who knows.

I did some CB hoplinks that weren't banned, they wouldn't convert tho and I lost a lot on them finding it out.

And don't try to sneak a CB hoplink past those guys either. 4 ads banned in 5 minutes. Dang!
