I lowered my bid about an hour ago and haven't seen any impressions since, any idea when I should start worrying?
 
What is a decent ctr on facebook ? The highest I got was about .15 on 100k+ impressions. And what is the proper bid lowering strategy ? I mean how long should you run at a good ctr before decreasing and then by how much ?

I hope this makes sense. (oh yeah .. you can blame cakes for me getting into facebook :D)

Ive been told that anything above 0.1 is good. Mine is currently running at 0-.8 What id like to know is how often to they update the impressions stats. I still havent seen a change in the counter.
 
they are such little shits about approving ads. Ive never been able to get a dating ad approved. Ill keep trying
 
is facebook acting up for anyone? i submitted an ad - idk where it is.
1 ad got rejected i re-edited it - it's not showing up. when i hit refresh - it created a duplicate copy of my ad. WTF
 
I haven't submitted an ad, but everything else is running well. In fact some hit the "Give Ross traffic" button finally.

.15 is better than average, but you can do better.

I started this week and all of my offers were about .06-.09. After testing different graphics and headlines, I have three ads over .3 after 500k impressions.

As for lowering bids, it all depends on CTR. I usually start .30-.40 cents depending on the demographic. If it's a CTR over .2 then I drop my bids to .15. I don't run ads unless they get over .2 CTR. Let it run a day, then drop it another 5 cents. You keep playing with the bids until you hit the sweet spot.

HJow do you edit your ads? Or do you just create new ones with the changes you want to make?
 
Man, Every time I find offer that convert my CTR sucks, and offers with great CTR don't convert lmao...

Anyone got some creative ideas to make chicks click? Guys are easy just post some boobs in the pic.

Try to spend one minute inside a womens head.

Most women are self concious about their appearance.
 
I have a hard enough time trying to spend one minute inside a WOMAN.... let alone her head.:jester:
In all honesty if you can't figure it out talk to a few women. Your mom, sister, wife, daughter. Maybe watch a little lifetime.. You know you want to.:D

I quit using Facebook for a while because the traffic was so damn expensive. Its not *that* good. Hell I've got a video site with 15k uniques a day that has about the same quality traffic for many of my offers.

I hit my first .15 CTR on there today. Was blowing through $10 per 3 minutes. Frikkin ridiculous. I had zero conversions on neverblue, and was starting to freak. Appears to be a stats delay however >prays this is really the problem<

It was pretty hard to hit .15, no idea how you managed to double that. I didn't use boobies though....

And I have now maxed out my 1k budget 2 days in a row god damn it. Today in 12 hours(w/ 12-13 cent clicks).
Gawd.
My credit card is crying.
