There are only 2 hard parts to cashing in big with facebook ads:
1) making a good ad that will get lots of clicks
This is extremely important because the higher your CTR, the lower you set your bid and the less money you spend per click. Right now I have an ad that I'm paying 4 cents a click for.
2) getting it approved
Facebook got wise to zip submits and other scammy type offers a while ago so you will have to get creative with this one. Also, human error plays a big role in this so you will plenty of times submit the same ad twice and have it approved the second time. If you're really running into a brick wall on this one, check my blog for some creative ways to get ads approved
At the end of the day, though, it costs $0 to set up a new ad and see if it works. I was getting really frustrated when I couldn't get any ads approved and felt like I was wasting my time and money, until I realized I wasn't losing any money by trying different ads. Think about those idiots who pay millions for a superbowl ad with no idea if it will convert for them in the end. We don't have this problem.
Take a line from wsmith...throw a bunch of shit at the wall and see what sticks.
