So I'm running my first campaign on 7search and noticed in Prosper that most of the referrers are junk sites... spam sites... some I couldn't even verify cause the referral link, hell the root domain sometimes, doesn't exist or 404'ed

My single ad would be all alone on some distant sub-directory in some of these begging me to ask who the fuck made it all the way down into this hell hole to click on my ad?

So I ask myself... maybe it's not a person clicking on these links... maybe it's a bot... employed by the website owner or hell, 7search themselves...

It went CRAZY in the first few minutes of posting too... then calmed down...

Anyone ever seen this with 7search ads?

Absurd. Only the top publishers online achieve 7search affiliate status and they would never in a million billion years risk the trillions of megabillions of dollars they make every microsecond gaming their revenue with iframe stuffing, backfill toolbar traffic, or botting. Never ever happen in a quadrillion epochs.

Send a support ticket telling them you would like to have the ability to block sources on a campaign level. They will then add this ability to your account. At that point you can weed out the offending sources and bid high on the quality. It's all about optimization!!!!

YEAH!!!! You can split test the bot clicks from herpderpsearch.biz against the bot clicks from pepsicolad.vz

So on purpose they don't have this feature enabled so you waste money.

How fucked is that.

Holy shit I thought he was kidding... on their support tickets it's practically it's own category on their customer service page... I submitted a ticket...

I aint putting anymore money into that hellhole... but I may as well "optimize", lol, what I have in there now...

So I submitted a support ticket just asking if they had such a feature, where I could deny sources at a campaign level and though it appears they didn't they immediately identified several shitty sources and blocked them for me... and gave me a $15 credit... so not bad customer service given that they know they're in bed with shitty traffic.... they probably have a master list already they just enabled for me... I'm not sure how much "investigating" into my campaign they really did... all and all good customer service thought I'm not going to be spending any more money with them anytime soon
