Im not trying to say that it sucks. Its just a very general statement, and if someone was to go global, I wouldnt tell him to get a hongkong business entity, because there are better options out there.

Do you really need protection from civil forfeiture or is that just some anti gov wet dream?

Personally, I wouldnt want to spend extended periods of time in these urban landscapes.

Also HK isn't just urban landscape; HK has 1,108 square kilometers of land and about three quarters of it is countryside. There's some great hiking trails here too.

TLDR; They canned my account because I asked for help.

I had an account with them I never used so they deactivated it. Fair enough, the account was inactive for like 3 years.

I contacted support and was told to start a new account and but to list the old account details in the new account application and they would merge the two.

Created new account and messaged support about the merging of accounts.

No repose.

Waited two weeks then discovered both accounts had been terminated.

Messaged support, asked what the problem was, was told that having two accounts is a violation of the TOS.

I told them that I was instructed by support to make a second account and they would be merged.

Ignored me for another two weeks. Pressed the issue, I was told polity to "fuck off"

They took the cash in my new account, only $100 but I would have been pissed if it had of been more.

Don't know if this is common, I don't think it is unless the person is trying to commit fraud, but it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Especially when they refused to tell me how I could fix the problem, their only response was "You're account has been terminated, thank you for contacting support"

He said there are better places than HK to incorporate, and blue responded back by saying that HK is a good place to setup a bank account because there is no civil forfeiture there. Besides you don't have to incorporate in HK in order to setup a HK corporate bank account.

Then 3nyaw condescendingly asked if civil forfeiture protection really is that important or if it it's just a anti government wet dream.

At least Wayne3 tries to drop knowledge on occasion, and doesn't pretend to be anything he's not.

btw, galacon is not a troll, he's a slimy, ass kissing politician who readily shits on those with lower perceived social standing to build the perception that he's one of the club.
