It could just as easily be that the Trump vs. Obama's Birth Certificate hoax was a pre-emptive strike to discredit the Alex Jones supporters before staging the much more important OBL hoax.
Because anything other than the truth (truth = what government and media tells you) = Conspiracy Nut.

Good news is that I think more and more people are starting feel like this. It's not a conspiracy theory, it's just supposed fact that doesn't make sense.

To tell the truth, I thought it was pretty smart to dump the body at sea. The fuzzy pix of Osama released so far showed quite a mess.
Pretty risky to keep the body around methinks, lots of people (and not just Americans) would have been itching to piss on the corpse.
If it was a hoax then it was hoax poorly done, as the setting is a little inconvenient for US government that says Pakistan is an ally.
It's not like Osama was found in a cave in the outbacks. Jeepers, his compound was less than 3 clicks from retirements of senior members of the Pakistani military elite.
After all the dust settles, there's going to be a lot of WTF directed at Pakistan leaders.

For you to say that I am exhibiting "Appeal to Consequences," which is assumed flawed, is in this case one and the same as accusing the POTUS of being so incredibly stupid that even a day or two after being forced to show his real birth certificate to conspiracy theory nut-cases, he couldn't see said consequences.
Very few would accuse O of being that dumb. He did go to Harvard, afterall.
A far, far, far more likely scenario is one where he HAS the proof, but is sitting on it for the moment for some sort of political gain.
Apply Ocham's Razor and it's clear that he has the goods. -It's not clear at all yet though what his overall plan is.
